I'm thinking the same. And it might be an open ending after the time jump, but she'll be leaning towards HJP lol…
I don't mean an open 'open' ending where we're still not sure who she will choose. I mean in the finale, DM and HJP are not in a relationship yet but it'll show us obvious signs that they will be together in the end and that DM and DS are just friends. Don't know how to put it but just a hunch.
Does anyone else think DM won't choose either of them at first? She'll only make her choice after the time jump.…
I'm thinking the same. And it might be an open ending after the time jump, but she'll be leaning towards HJP lol I'm such a fool :P
PS. I'm in such a good mood right now seeing how many us viewers are rooting for them two (52k for an IG post wow!). Even if they don't end up together, I'm just so happy for KSH/HJP :)
Gosh, this post of hers is being flooded with comments! Like 52k so far, while other posts are just a few thousands with a few getting about 20k. I'm not screaming - it's my heart that is! Team HJP is stronger and more passionate than I thought! :)
Omg Suzy just posted her first photo with Seon Ho- saying that shooting is over ~ Does that mean ???
It could be just another crumb feeding scheme but here we are happily taking whatever crumbs sending our way :P. It's lovely to see the photos but I don't think it means anything tbh. I don't think she posted them to say 'Hey everyone, this is to confirm our status: endgame'.
Re Kimsamsoom's previous post about the way DM looks at DS, I just want to add my two cents:
I’ll refrain myself from commenting on the chemistry part because I could be biased. But what I can see clearly without any bias at all is their giver/taker dynamics: DS - the giver, DM - the taker. Sure in any relationship, one person always gives more than the other, but here it’s heavily unbalanced. It would become an issue in the long term when one keeps giving and the other takes it for granted. Not to mention there were times DS gave DM what she didn't need (attention), or to put it more precisely, he didn't give her what she needed and asked for (space) which would cause another issue: making one feel smothered.
Maybe I’ve missed something but has DM ever done anything for DS that shows she truly cares? Correct me if I’m wrong, but the two things she has ever done for DS were actually for the letters-DS: the plant and the go-stop game.
With HJP though, she takes notice of the little things and makes efforts to show she cares for him (this has been mentioned more than enough but I’ll repeat anyway: the famous incombustible bag, the promo worthy pine nut kalguksu, then coming soon porridge).
Maybe there is no romantic interest (yet) on DM’s end towards HJP, but she cares and it shows.
So yes, though it’s pretty clear DS-DM is endgame and I’ve been fooling myself clinging onto a very very slim hope that there’ll be a twist, I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out she’s been in love with HJP all along.
(1) DM walked into this thing with DS (don’t think they’re in an official relationship yet) thinking he was her first love. (2) DS fell in love with her at first sight. (3) They have been ‘getting to know each other’/‘dating’ for only a few months. (4) The ‘it doesn’t really show (yet) she truly cares for DS while it's obvious she cares for HJP' above.
Of course love is love and it doesn’t need to be proved or justified one may say, but given all these things, we’re not on solid ground to say she’s already in love with the real DS and that in the upcoming episodes she can’t have a change of heart and shows interest in HJP all of a sudden. It’s not sudden, it’s slow burn romance - if it happens.
I have legit so many friends who are team JP we get along and even they are baffled at how how other people misunderstand…
If you don't like it when people discuss weaknesses and negative traits of your favourite character, just skip them, read selectively and you'll be fine :). We're literally strangers voicing our thoughts on the drama and its characters, why let yourself be bothered so much by what strangers think?
I love KSH the actor and HJP as a character but I feel indifferent towards negative comments about him, ah no, I find reading them fun even. To each their own.
This is an online outlet for everyone and anyone to discuss kdramas, not a courtroom, a social care centre, or a police station, what do we expect? Try not to take it too seriously or personally :)
I also think SDM falls short as a CEO - not just any CEO, but Korea's Steve Jobs. Even though the time skip may…
Yes I enjoyed all those you mentioned. There are quite a few more that I like but to name a few of my favourites: Black, Voice series, Train, Tunnel, Psychopath diary, He is psychometric, The lies within, Stranger...
One of the things I find outstanding in Korean thriller/crime dramas beside well written storylines and characters is the amazing cast and their stellar acting skills.
I'm watching Kairos atm and so far it's good.
Re business theme with strong female leads, my favourite is www search.
Hospital Playlist is great too, Prison Playbook which I think from the same writer and director is brilliant. Absolutely loved it.
My fellow JP♡DM supporters, check out this video, it's one of the things we need to help us cope, feed our delusional hearts and hopeful souls - it gives you all the feels :)

I don't really watch Korean romances actually, I started watching this with expectation that it was going to be about business. I watch crime/thriller mostly (OCN dramas are brilliant) and most of them have no romance at all. But somehow I ended up investing in Start-Up love stories too deep and too late to get out now lol :)

I kind of know it, just stubbornly clinging onto a very slim hope that HJP will end up with DM. DM as a character isn't my cup of tea. But I love HJP, and so want him to get what he wants. I wouldn't have cared who DM might end up with if they had not switched the focus to the love triangle.
I haven't put much thought into it, and the lyrics seem a bit contradictory in itself, not sure if it's because of the translation, but my interpretation is this is a JP&DM song. I could be wrong and read too much into it but I'll just lay it out here.
It's either:
1. About their childhood love. "I can’t just let go of the dreams that always remained in my heart". Now they meet again as strangers "even if we don't recognize each other" and then "start again slowly just like then". -> here is me hoping it means JP and DM will end up together.
Or
2. About the present. So it leans towards an open ending. SDM ends up with neither of them. But they will meet again "one day let's run into each other" and "let's start again".
I also think SDM falls short as a CEO - not just any CEO, but Korea's Steve Jobs. Even though the time skip may…
Agreed! Especially taking into account your explanation above re her lack of basic knowledge and stuff, it'd be more plausible to make her a college graduate.
So I was right, you know everything about kdramas and have just summed it up in just a few words:p

lol Steve Jobs behaving like Dalmi, that's hilarious. Your theory'd make more sense but in kdrama, it's not uncommon they undermine logic to highlight that heart matters when it comes to making (business) decisions. And by doing so, sometimes they mess with our head lol. I bet you know more about kdramas than I do :)
