If the older brother who is so knowledgeable and knows everything including what is happening in the emperor's…
A'Yao no longer feels trapped by his family and has no choice but to do what yhey want. He's grown in that he's more willing to speak up for himself because NN showed him he can. Older brother hasn't gotten the guts yet as we saw when he refused an official position because of his Uncle. In a way, A'Yao is ahead of his older brother because he's gained a backbone of sorts.
I'm rewatching and currently on episode 19 a few things that's stayed with me:
1. Older Lou brother knowing that LBY was the one that requested the decree for NN.... π€π€ How does he know this when he's not involved in politics nor in the palace?
2. Uncle Lou keeping Older brother Lou down to make his branch of the family look good he's definitely corrupt! Hopefully A'Yao isn't affected if he's brought down.

I think LLTG is showing there are two ways to parent, either beat into submission - XYY or show love and affection to reform the behavior - Empress. What I don't understand is XYY knows NN hasn't been shown any love or understanding why continue to double down on this behavior that you know NN will only continue to rebel from?! Yes I understand you're a general but NN isn't in your army, why not use a different method because the one you're currently using isn't working!!!
open discussion for ep 22 - the tower scene!at first i didnt really take much attention to it but after re-watching…
You're so right!!!! I was wondering how he was able to pickup the jade if he came from the lower floors but he was never there!!!!! π΅βπ« It gets better and better!
Their wedding is after one year, but things happen and they break up. Then, they meet again after 5-6 years. But,…
I knew YS's family was involved somehow!!!! He knows too much and is everywhere for a "scholar", besides there was a moment at his house with his father I think that made me raise my eyebrow...
Rewatching ep 21 again - it's interesting that LBY is there for the execution. He Zhao Jun's situation is comparable…
I know that we haven't seen it play out yet but I'm already siding with LBY. His dad walking around like he's a saint and he's justified in his actions. He didn't give a crap about his wife and child suffering or possibly dying due to his greed. I bet you that both tutors of the Princes are involved too...
Most Hated: Yuan Shen, Tutor Luo, Papa Ling (just something about him)
I'm willing to wait too Leo if that helps π€π€π€
