I love this freaking show even though I tried it for JoongDunk but yes folks I finally found a gmm show I actually like and enjoyed watching till the very end.
Nothing against the other couple I just have a shallow preference when it comes to pretty boys and Joong Dunk pretty much nail it for me.
Dunk honestly he is so freaking cute and adorable I could not get enough of his antics and the characters all around just worked for me.
Good old bl world where everyone is gay and I'm okay with that.
There were very few things that didn't work for me, and those mostly had to do with the plot that too only in a few places but mostly it was all made well and written well enough and entertaining.
They were trying hard not to use mafia or bodyguard and instead made Fadel and Bison hitmen which I like it too. All of it.
But the most memorable shit: the strip act, the two brothers finding out the truth about 'mother' and it was very much a Fadel Bison moment when he says he wants to kill her that whole scene was done so well! The music is damn nostalgia, and pretty much everything to do with the crack jokes and sexy times and I was honestly bummed out when they went to prison. Just for once I would like to see a series where the usual morality of going to prison because I'm a good person, changes but I think that's just a me problem, and I'm well aware.
But yes as for the sucky things I feel like just towards the end they should have done some conflicts that were not exactly the same exactly in the same scene too, even for a brothers story the cutesy wholesome stuff is great doing together but even they both go to prison and all the family get captured was a bit of a miss for me. Like Fadel
gets hurt by some guy and the same scene Bison gets hurt even worse like this happened pretty much all the time.
Anyway so that's all I got pretty much for the bad.
Just a fun show with some old school American nostalgia which was absolutely my favorite part, even though I feel like they were not able to carry it throughout the plot it was still a lot of fun to watch for sure.
The ending was decent enough.
So yes watch if you're looking for something different but still gives you the same guilty pleasure stuff too.
