I like the way you view things. It can be helpful to get the perspective of someone who is more on the neutral side. It's true as you said there are ppl who tend to focus more in the hate comments, while they could just ignore them and report which would be more wise.

While there is a difference if you actually try to ask a person who is doing such negative comments, sometimes you find out the reason and then they are like no i didn't mean it like that once you write to them in a respectful tone while if you are being aggressive then it will be a never ending circle.

Anyways i used to enjoy movies and tv shows (no matter the country) without caring about knowing more about actors/actresses but in this case Hyeyoon is someone who seems to be approachable and i think there are ppl who get hyped for a short time but she is one of the actresses who will be here for the long term.

I don't remember everything about The Witch but i checked some clips and now i do what you mean.

The versatility in her voice can be heard even with her clear dicition.

I guess it was a huge difference since Im Sol was being shown as an adult too unlike Eun Danoh was only shown at the end in college though Hyeyoon kinda played three roles in one drama in Extraordinary You

So true specificially if the actor or actress simply understands their own character and you can feel each emotion.

I'm all in if it is a very dark thriller, while i'm not sure if i can tune into it if it is horror in case it contains supernatural elements 💀

Hmm regarding adventure roles i'd like to see her in something like Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.

There has been a lot of improvement and Eun Danoh and Im Sol might have some similarities but Sol was refreshing to see.

I am sure not any director or writer will check any comments of this website but i am just sharing my wishes.

As i have written in another comment before i would prefer if she would do something without romance..If i am being honest it would be only up to it if she would be comfortable doing a sapphic/wlw role in the near future like her chemistry with Shin Haesun or Kim Taeri could be intense

There is definitely a lot to explore for her. I personally would wish to see her in more adventure, action or thriller works as a lead.

You have got a point. It is fine to have different taste in visuals but i tend to believe there are some options why people are behaving this way.. It could be either that they are insecure about their own image so Hyeyoon might have something which they don't have.

This is so true. Certain people clearly have no idea that she has done so much more than "cutesy" roles. I had sympathy with her character in The Girl On A Bulldozer though i would not see it as a "positive" character.

Same with Snowdrop..I haven not watched it but i know from a lot of ppl that they did not like the character as it was more of an antagonist

Hyeyoon would definitely nail such roles

Thank you for adding Sky Castle but i was choosing to mention those works from her since she had a more mature look in them unlike when she was that young compared to Sky Castle. I know Hyeyoon's journey from the very beginning. I guess not everyone specifically here in the comments know that she had her debut in 2013

I don't think that would be the case. To be honest i would not understimate Lomon. I was impressed with his work since he was in All Of Us Are Dead and people all over the world watched it. It was pretty close to being known like Squid Game and usually other kdramas sadly don't get that much attention from locals.

As much as i remember Revenge of others was a well received project too

I totally get that there are some people who might not be familiar with the rest of her filmography, while others were more curious after getting to know her from Lovely Runner.

Hyeyoon has various of faces and looks not just "bubbly" characters.

For example you would not know but she has received a lot of hate during Snowdrop since it was more of a "grey" character and sadly certain people could not differentiate btw the character and her as a real person, though it only shows she was kind of a good "villain".

Anyways she has done other genre too though those projects might not have gotten a lot of attention.

Expect her movie The Girl On A Bulldozer which was a mystery thriller and she got 10 nominations in total and won 6 out of them.

As much as i had a good time watching Lovely Runner..I prefer not to see Hyeyoon work with Wooseok that fast again but that's just my opinion

You don't have to watch anything else from her. To each their own but i think it's better to talk about the actors/actresses i like instead of the ones i don't like.

My list is huge but i don't have the time to comment about them since it is more fun to talk about the things i enjoy.

I guess that's due to the character like in Extraordinary You and Lovely Runner it was like that.

Not sure which genre you usually like but like for me i did like the projects but romance in general is not my stuff, that is why i have found her best performance in The Girl On A Bulldozer since it showed more of her range since it was a mystery thriller.

It is not even confirmed yet from Hyeyoon's side. I guess everyone will find out sooner or later but do not put other actresses down.

Looking forward to if Hyeyoon will confirm the drama with Lomon. On the other side i hope she will do a movie soone or later too.

It is kinda not easy for me since i would prefer especially after Lovely Runner not to see another romcom but in something action, adventure or thriller related without focus on romance

It is fine if you are not into her acting. There will be no show, movie, actor or actress where everyone is gonna like them. Everyone should have their own preference.
