"Kim Hye Yoon has been offered the role of Eun Ho, a rich MZ gumiho who enjoys her unchanging youth and beauty,…
Not sure which projects you have seen of her but in case you have only seen Lovely Runner then this only shows a small part from her.
She always adapts her voice on the character. If you check out how she acts in Lovely Runner vs. her movie The Girl On A Bulldozer or Ditto she sounds completely different
I wanted to see Hyeyoon to work with Lomon though i would prefer something action or thriller related but let's see how this one turns out in case they confirm it
Whoever comes across my comment..I would appreciate it if you could share this with others, in case if you use other social media platforms since MBC Radio has posted this video.
At 4:09 Hyeyoon is holding an Starbucks Cup..Those who know what is going on in the World know that SB including some others are on the boycott list.
I am not sure if MBC or her agency as in Artist Company bought it but it would be great if everyone would be aware of it that this company funds the genoc*de in Palestine.
If you are interested to get in touch with her agency then you can mail them here:
It is like i have manifested some things for Hyeyoon.
I am sure other people have wished for her to get some more recognition in general since she had a big push already through Sky Castle and Extraordinary You, regarding when it comes to her dramas until Lovely Runner happened.
Her movie The Girl On A Bulldozer might not have been hyped a lot but she had immense success for it as it was being more of an indie movie and it did still well at the box office and then all the awards she has received.
Anyways coming to my manifestion like last year i wrote on a platform that she should only get main lead roles with solid scripts, no matter if it is a movie or drama then that she will be kinda an ambassador for an big brand and those who know she has tagged Gucci and has worn some clothes.
There was something else but i think this will be possible in the near future that she will have a fanmeeting around the world, not just in Asia.
With whom would you like to see her working? If you scroll down a bit then you would see my answer since someone…
Now that was a good one. Imagine Hyeyoon, Jiyeon and Dohyun might be all friends one day.
True on the small screen, there are not a lot of sapphic main couples yet. A movie would be more realistically since in movies they don't even have an strict age restriction, so they can show bolder scenes too. I don't mean necessarily intimate scenes but even when it comes to heavy action or spooky scenes it can be more explicit.
Let's see what happens next. Adult Romance would be fine as long as it's not a boring office romance (which is just my opinion).
With whom would you like to see her working? If you scroll down a bit then you would see my answer since someone…
That's just the TV & Film Industry in general around the world. Things have been changing but men still have it easier.
Oh so we have similiar choice that is nice to hear. Yeah if romance is not the main storyline then it could work out as well.
I might not be the majority but at this point i would rather see her a sapphic storyline than hetero when it comes to romcom stuff, depends if she is comfortable doing such an role.
Hyeyoon working with Park Boyoung, Lee Jehoon or Im Jiyeon could be interesting especially Im Jiyeon since both of them are in the same company now.
I'm so excited about the future for Hye Yoon. In one of her interviews, she mention her favorite genre is horror…
With whom would you like to see her working?
If you scroll down a bit then you would see my answer since someone else has asked a similiar queston but all in one, here are the people:
- Lee Dohyun - Park Solomon - Han Sukkyu - Kim Hyesoo - Kim Taeri - Shin Haesun
Regarding her next projects, whatever it is gonna be i hope it will be women oriented or just focused on her character alone, whenever she works with men again then i prefer it to be with zero romance, just partners in crime and so on.
Before Lovely Runner, I’ve only seen her in Extraordinary You and other shows as cameo. She’s improved so…
True she is a pretty crier but i think she does not shy away from looking a bit "messy" during it as well. I have seen actors/actress around the world who try hard to not have such an messy expression and then it looks weird.
By the way do you have any specific genre you like?
If you would like to check out something else from her filmography then i could give you a suggestion, though i need to know first what you are into.
Apart from that i would like to mention, some people might feel she gets not enough praises but that is not entirely the truth.
People who are familiar with Hyeyoon's journey until now know that even when her first years until Sky Castle happened were kind of bumpy, on the other side she had her full focus on her studies and right after Sky Castle she has got her first lead role in Extraordinary You, where she has received quite a few awards for it then there was a time, where i feel like her old agency did a very poor job at promoting her and she did more cameos.
2021 she did a movie, where she had a small role and then Secret Royal Inspector & Joy happened (which was her second lead role in a show) but that was not hyped at all.
2022 was definitely her year again since she was in two movies and The Girl On A Bulldozer was her first main lead role in a movie.
She has won like 6 awards out of 10 nominations including Blue Dragon and Grand Bell Awards, which are very prestigious and another one of the awards where at the NYAFF - New York Asian Film Festival, where she has traveled to New York to received it.
She has made it in the 2023 Forbes List (not the Korea one but the big one from America, where even big business people are being mentioned and so on) for 30 Under 30 Asia Entertainment & Sports.
From now on since she has moved to a new agency, she better receive more and projects where she can grow.
Acom has more connections than her old agency had.
It is not only about the industry but people who keep talking about her and engage on social media or just spreading the word in real life that there is an talented actress called Kim Hyeyoon everyone will notice that people want to see her in more projects.
I am looking forward to Hyeyoon's next project. Hopefully it will be action or thriller related. A Netflix Original could be more possible now since she is with Acom
It feels strange to put this show under "completed". I thought i would not feeling empty but here we are. All in one it had some flaws here and there but overall it will be added to my favorite dramas, which is not usual for me since romcom is not my type of genre but time-travel was part of it as well and that is something which i do like.
The whole cast and production team did an splendid job. My first reason to check it out was Hyeyoon. I have been supporting her since 2019 and it was quite a journey for me until now, not all her shows or movies were for me, i had to drop quite a few but Lovely Runner came at the right time.
I have known Wooseok from 20th Century Girl and he has improved a lot in this show.
When i came across that Yoon Jongho is becoming one of the main directors i was curious and he had co directed Flower Of Evil, which was one of my top kdramas.
Lovely Runner was for me the right balance of everything from almost every genre included to the parallels which they have used even in the last episodes of Sol and Sunjae.
If i would start talking about every detail then my comment will be too long.
I might not be visiting this page again, otherwise it will be hard to move on but it has been fun to read the comments.
Sure there will always be people who won't like it but as i have written like a week ago or maybe it has been longer, not a single piece of media, no matter which country will be liked by every single human on planet earth. There are even people who don't like to watch movies or shows in general. They don't even have an TV at home and that's a fact.
Maybe i will see some familiar usernames in other comment sections but i am actually not much into kdramas anymore, so the chances are slim, unless Hyeyoon is part of it then i will see if the plot is for me or not.
What are you guys planning to watch after this drama ends?
I do not certainly plan to watch anything. If i got time and i come across a movie or show with a good plot then i might check it out (no matter the country). Regarding South Korea, their upcoming stuff does not interest me..I will just see what Kim Hyeyoon's next project is gonna be
I remember how i first came to know about the drama back in March 2023, when they announced the casting news, where it was not even sure if the cast was confirmed and not a lot of people knew about it then the first filming crumbs were being spread around July..and now there are only two episodes left
I just get into the world of the writer that is creating, anyways no matter how many time travel dramas/movies…
As long as you are having a good time watching them. I am definitely with you that while what works for some, will not work for others.
I like to check out stuff from every continent, there is so much more out there.
Sure people are either familiar with western or asian (Asia is a huge continent, though some people tend to think if you mention it then they think about South Korea, Japan, China and Thailand, even when you have a huge industry in the rest of the countries like India and Turkey) but nowadays movies & shows from any country are available.
It is up to the people whom they give the platform and i hope other entertainment people from continents like Africa, Europe or South America will get more coverage.
Can anyone tell me if Kim Hye Yoon's acting is similar to what she did in Extraordinary You? I couldn't stand…
I think you got some good answers already. I just wanna throw a little detail in here since you mentioned that you have been struggling with her since then.
You do not need to check anything else out, if you do not want to but her movie "The Girl On A Bulldozer" is worth to give a try.
I found her acting okayish in Extraordinary you as well as in her previous historical drama but this drama she…
I think it truly depends on the character. As much as i liked her as Dan Oh..There is more to Im Sol. On the other side, she has got different faces throughout her career.
Lovely Runner will definitely stay as one of her best works but for me, as for now nothing will top her movie "The Girl On A Bulldozer" since she was leading it all alone.

The thing is i am not good with words but i have seen this tweet and it makes sense: https://x.com/lilymelodies/status/1792590085906473382
Lee Dohyun is on my list too then there would be:
- Park Solomon
- Han Sukkyu
- Kim Hyesoo
Need to see her with some ladies (if she would be okay with it then i would be looking forward to see her in a sapphic related storyline):
- Kim Taeri
- Shin Haesun
