After the third try, I still couldn't get into it.... and had to drop it half way through. The idea is there but the script just didn't deliver and that could be the reason I didn't really feel for the FL's character...

I am so glad LuLF finally got to speak normally and even smile! It makes a whole world of difference!!! And he can ACT!!!!!!! And my rating has just jumped from 7 to 8,7 for this drama.. I am enjoying the mysteries in all the cases in the drama a lot!! LOVING IT and I am on Episode 20 can;t wait for the next to episodes

I know arrogance and pride, don't mean you can't have a normal conversation. It's human nature, not breeding and nobility... What is written at the end of the day are words and descriptions and quotes, they do not record a conversation. Do you mean to tell me they don't talk they snapped? It's very unnatural, whether, you are Royal, Aristocrats or Nobility.

A very interesting surprise!!! But Lu Ling Feng Character hasn't had a normal conversation with anyone, all he does is bark and I am on episode 7 now.. I hope he will get better.... Otherwise it's very hard to listen to his speech.. I hate people who snap all the time .... it's very unsettling.

There are bad dramas and there are bad dramas, this one seems to be the latter... You don't understand what I am getting at? Me neither, go figure.. It's that irritatingly bad...

I like Li Qin in The Wolf and MY Dear Guardian.... but I am not sure the role she plays really suited her... Oh well, early days yet.. Hope the story becomes more cohesive and makes sense....

An opinion expressed by one person is his or her personal opinion, and just voicing it. It's not an invitation for you to attack his or her opinion just because you like what he or she doesn't. Learn to accept it. If you disagree you, just not made comments if you can't be civil about it. You can point out why you think you like it, it doesn't have to persuasive, but just state your view, if you have one. Not getting all huffed up and bothered by their comments. I rarely come across a civilised discussion in here. Opinion is a very subjective matter and one can't be objective about it when it comes to personal opinion. The opposing opinions is not a direct attack at you, neither does it questioned your intelligence, we all are entitled to our opinion. I grew up watching Wuxia movies, they were so inspiring and they were great! Fast pace and lots of actions. This is the first time I watched a Jin Yong Wuxia adaptation in a drama form, which I must say the Side Story of the Fox Volant follows very closely to that genre, not only the style but also mood, pleasantly surprise. Now I need to get used to watching 40 episodes of it like, I am watching 40 movies....

Apparently I some universe out there, they love FL voice, they call it 'Cute'.... Go figure...

I totally agree with you.... There are commenters in here who do not take any form of criticism if you dislike the drama or the leads. Fanatic fandom are quite a unique set of people.

Normally Korean drama are pretty good.... But this one just take the cake as one of the worst I have ever come across...

A classic wuxia....

There is a hint of the older girl who is Cheng Zheng girlfriend and I think the character is in there just to so he is not single.. but I doubt she will play any romantic role in it.. These kind of strong detective drama should not have romance in it.. it will just spoil the whole drama... I too hate that! Romance Drama has their place bt certainly not in the detective ones... So lets hope there won't be...

It is quite quite riveting to watch... I too want to know the ending already... hahahaha.. I like HJY more and more now...

Huang Jing Yu never fails to disappoint! Early days yet.. but it looks like it's right up there with The Thunder..... Tony Yang is pretty good too... I am current pausing between scenes to prepare myself for the next scene or plot!! HJY is so under-appreciated as an actor!!! Once again I hope for a great ending!!!
