After I plough through 17 eps, I decided to drop the drama.... too many characters, and the storyline has no substance.....So promising in the beginning,.. it became so predictable and boring...
Even gorging down food has become a trope.. First time it's funny, second time it's ok, cute. but after nearly every single Wuxia drama its becomes boring and repetitive.. Writers will have to be more original and stop being lazy....
On the whole, the drama looks really promising!!!!
I was hooked from the beginning but now I am a little untangled by two or three things, the storyline is getting boring, the acting is meh, and some scenes are so unnecessary.. I will skip and jump as I go along... hoping for a good ending

I totally agree!!! There are villains you love to hate and there are villians you just find irritating as well... the former is due to their brilliant convincing acting, and the later due to their personality and nothing to do with their acting.. I am afraid to me, Yi Mei is the later....
maybe because i don't need to rely on subs and so my 1st watch, 2nd, 3rd, 4th watch... still kept me captivated…
I think Ji Chang's (Li XueJian) had a throat cancer and his vocal cord was damaged due to the life-saving surgery.... thus made it difficult for him to speak clearly.... Just thank god that we have sub-titles to fall back on.... I too would have found it impossible if there were no subtitles!!
I have seen a couple of editions of the movie and drama, and I have to say, the Creation of the Gods 1: Kingdom of Storms is one great movie, and worth every rivetting 2 hour and a half of my full concentration! The actors young and old were great! The storyline was very well told and edited and it ran smoothly and the animation is also great. I never thought they could pull off one of the greatest stories of Chinese mythology ever told with its convoluted and unimaginable fantasy. Well, they did and Well Done!!! Can't wait to see the other two parts!!

This is one of the rare occasion he gets to play opposite an actress who is younger than he is usually he plays against aunties as his love interest.....
Loving this drama, but is the Cheng Yi character lost his power, which is exactly like Blood of Youth, or is he hiding his martial art power... I hope the latter, otherwise it is a bit boring.. Let's hope for the very best!!
ReWatching Fuyao... I still want Pei Yuan to die a slow horrible death by the dismemberment of her limbs and then feed them to the vultures just before she dies.. I still think that's too kind...
