I have watched until Ep 11 .. so far the drama hasn't disappoint just yet, like may others.. The complex emotions and romance between the lead is very well written and played out... there's still 29 more episodes to go, if they can keep up with this level of maturity... Its will be one of the best drama by far... Let's hope!!!
I love the first 10 episodes, but now I am beginning to feel the entire plot is dragging on and it seems they just can't break forward. If the entire drama is about the Poison Flower and nothing else, then this is going to be one big bore.. Thank god we have Song Yi to entertain us!!!
I caught by surprise how good this drama thus far. Song Yi is such a good actress!! LYX is actually pretty good too. The storyline is very interesting and quirky, and unpredictable This could be a surprise hit! Its far better than The Double

Jeremy will play his role well, he is a very good actor (shame to see him leave, but hope he will come back to acting). He has the maturity and the depth to play the character. I am afraid Allen might not be able to balance the tone, as he is a weak actor.
I like the storyline and will definitely check it out....but my biggest doubt is Allen performance. It is going to be a tough for him acting next to Jeremy, who is a very good actor.

Yep, as long as the script and storyline is still tight.. which so far has been on point. Good point you made, we should watch this as a standalone and not juxtaposed it to the first season.
I am a huge fan of the Season 1, for its quirkiness, funny, the unusual approach to blending modern day nuances in the ancient settings and all.. Totally blew my mind. And I have waited impatiently for the Season 2 and it has finally arrived!!! Yippee . In one sitting I have watched all the 7 episodes, and I felt, the tone has changed, the mood in this Season 2 has changed, Storyline may still be the same, but everything else has, it is now more comedic and also just like every other wuxia drama... I can't say I don't like as it is still early days yet, but that magic has dissipated ... In more ways than one, I can see why the rating has been marked down....

My mum don't really like tv dramas, but Blossoms Shanghai seems to float her boat! She kept up with every episode released. She thinks it's fabulous and i am waiting impatiently for the Eng sub?!

Unfortunately its not in my are either... I bet to sold the viewing rights to another network.. Just Like A Journey To Love.. This is such a greedy stupid move.... you know why? It only encourage one to seek other ways of viewing it.. They loose out so much!
I was so looking forward to this drama..... but the its one of the worst Xianxia I have ever seen .. every fighting scene since to have more drama than action.. protracted over an entire episode ... It's quite funny actually... Kind of remind me of the blood spewing and gushing Love and Redemption .... I am Luis fan and even she cant saved the horrible script!
In episode 9 onwards there is a speed problem, some bit the speech sped up and some bits the speech slowed down.. Do you have the same problem? And also its not shown on IQIYI in Malaysia... hmmmm
