The entire drama is let down by some really really unconvincing scene fallout lies either in direction or editing.... Almighty Imugi seems to be totally useless...
This is a good drama. Got me hooked!!! But I hope the ML gets to reveal his identity to the FL soon... otherwise its going to be one messy relationship....
One major flaw to an otherwise a riveting drama, and is Zichuan Ning. The actress is too old to play a teenager, or the character is too immature due to perception of what silly teen girls are.. But in reality, in ancient times mortality is <50. The girls and boys were women and men when they hit their mid teens. They matured really fast because of the hard living conditions forced them to grow up fast, poor or rich .. Rebellious yes, but never stupid or silly... they don't have that luxury....
I have watch many character like Ning in other dramas, such a poor representation of ancient women ...

Don't mock!! I love Simpsons right from the start!! You re right.. I am should stop watching romantic dramas.. I love my Wuxia. Heaven forbid Xianxia the most ridiculous of them all... I guess I am too old for those shit! hahahaha

I think the script writer should be dragged out there and shot without blindfold!!! Such complete crap! Its sooooo not funny! ITs so stupid!!!
I truly understand now why the ratings pregressively getting lower... the building up to disappointment is too early in the the drama, paving only more disappointments along the way can only lead to unhappy ending.... Love the FL & ML, but the storyline is less desirable... Who knows may be some of you out there love that kind of story....
It could have been a better drama, if they could just cut most of the romance bit out... it made it draggy.. These kind of drama should not focus on too much romance...
I quite enjoy this drama. Love the ML and FL acting and the story telling is very good, even though some of scenes are pure cowshit.. The FL would have lost her head in real life and time... But then this is drama.. right?
I watched halfway through EP 1, and I gave up! Not because of the FL and ML acting. It's the FL's shrilly- voice that is off-putting. It reminded me of Fairy and the Devil, where the FL voice put me off. Sigh...
This comedy has so much potential, the ML and FL acting were quite spot on, but either the direction or the script has made a 'Silly Girl' character into an idiot!! Soooooo not funny!!!! So cringey
Just when I am enjoying this drama, and thought Dylan comedic timing is pretty good . Then came along Princess Li An, whiney, childish, and shrilly voice,, remind me of Esther Yu, and that just curbed by enthusiasm for the show.... I shall carry on and see what happens... I shall skipped all her appearances.... to survive
WOW!!! To think that I nearly wanted to skip this drama, its insane... I am glad I decided to pick it up.. as it turns out, so far, THE best drama of the year... considering I don't even like romantic dramas..
