@Tharr so in summary, sexuality is dependent on proper diet and lifestyle, physical, mental spiritual health... and imo the East knows a lot more about body and sexuality than the West and so do not blindly believe some magazine or "cool" things... The contribution of the West is openly and honestly talking about things. Including environment and women. For centuries, patriarchy exploited and oppressed Nature and women.
The contribution of kdramas is showing meaningful human relationships and character growth, individually and within the fabric of the society. Recently, the hard core sexism is starting to break so kdrama heroines are more real women with common sense and do not depend on the ML to save them and guide them since they are so dumb and hopeless they need a backing.
In this kdrama, we see that ML at first was portrayed as dumb but by ep 8 it is clear he is not so dumb, he is a master of relationships and he understands lying. How he caught his manager is masterful.... How he tried to help FL is masterful... He is not well educated in modern ways and may not understand very analytical things LOL He is honest, caring, kind, and communicates openly. FL is a real person, also honest and communicates openly. Both of them are hard working honest people with integrity. There is no alcohol and issues.... They meet "in the middle of the chapter" of their lives and now they are starting to mesh their lives as a pair. So from there, this is a start of a good love story.
Do not ruin it with some flashy shocking product placement that might tickle the audience but take away from the content. Sure show the issues but do not let them take over. Where to draw the line ... is a trick question.

And he is sooo naive to keep blindly sticking to JW... why? Love? Lust? A nice new toy? ....
But JW does not love him. She is just getting a high on his attention and love. When he finally figures that out... plus that she was deceiving him and using him... well...

And... RealYC.... is after him..... As we suspected. And we all predicted she will catch him. But did you expect it to be like what we saw in the shower??? RealYC is quite some racy lewd lose character...who loves to commit crime, she said.... A criminal. She admitted she does not really like him but is seducing him as a part of her game

I suspected that there is a lot more to Se Hun's character than meets the eye of meek mama boy who also hides this streak of power-loving cruelty like his dad...
But the shower scene was something else. And anyone who said SH was not interesting or handsome, will have to eat their words :)

The end of ep 44 Sweet Serial Killer Chairman talking to RealYC and then with JW - wow that is scary!!!! That actor is so good!!! he was totally totally TERRIFYING in those scenes!!! The camera made it even more so, with his face over the whole screen, as the victim would see it before he devoured them... WOW!!!! then seeiing it from the side, how small JW is compared to him... and the fear in RealYC and JW when talking with him... And his eyes and demeanor... changing into I WILL EAT YOU threat... while the voice still stays polite... and says he will kill you ... AAAH SOOOO CREEPY HORRIFYING, MEETING A PREDATOR READY TO KILL YOU!!!!!
I think that is how a victim must feel when that tall innocent yellow grass turns out to be a hungry lion... it is like meeting a monster face to face!!!!
The camouflage fell off and you can see what is behind that sweet polite face... utmost cruelty....
This is one of best horror scenes ever!!!! esp since he is so much bigger than those skinny chicks - he is like twice th size of JW when they sat facing each other....

I just finished ep 44 and I still do not understand wth is Ha Neul doing. Please - ideas! He is chasing JW as a lover but she is an immature girl doing stupid stuff, and he watches her do it and even helps her, and keeps complaining about it.
Then all his advances and trying to woo her away from her husband, and she just rejecting him all the time. I can see why JW is stuck on SH, he is a rich hunk who adores her, so yeah! LOL
WHAT IS THAT DUDE HN EVEN THINKING??? I dont understand his behavior.
Even threatening the serial killer psycho... !!!! that is like ... suicidal...

Also, he has zero chemistry with JW, as someone already said. HN actor is just not all that ... skilled.. and JW actress is terrible in acting... so the two o them together just doesnt work at all

I think such ppl do family life bc that is how they get "slaves" and can use ppl for their own benefit , ie they create their own pack... it is like forming your own little army and a network of connections, and indeed camouflaging into the larger social network as a "normal member" . I think this drama is meant for a really dumb audience, to make people who feel like victims and are not very IQ endowed go on a power trip that they can move ahead - by a series of miraculously lucky events.

It is like a CARTOON where good guys keep winning just because, they never get caught and they never ever get hurt no matter how stupidly they act. They are just MAGICALLY LUCKY

I am not trying to be snide and say that only those with high IQ can move ahead. I dont know how to precisely express what I am trying to say... Except that this drama feels like a dream of someone who is TOTALLY CLUELESS
Someone with some IQ realizes that there is no free lunch, there is never getting something for nothing, there is no miraculous luck all the time, and you better be prepared and work your butt off if you want to make it happen for real. THIS DRAMA LACKS THAT MATURITY.
So that's why characters just do not grow.

Like the rom coms that show these immature loser women who somehow get this cruel horrifying guy who magically turns into a wonderful dedicated guy who tolerates all their stupidities. Hey that situation does not exist in real life... maybe 1 in a billion might turn like that.... but all immature women fantasize about it

So this drama is like that. Every dumb loser's fantasy

Oh I know how to say it now - THIS DRAMA IS LIKE A FANTASY OF MIN JI SEOP....... someone who feels victimized and marginalized (and for a good reason... :( that is th punch line here...someone who is not the sharpest tool in the box just cannot be a leader on a grand scale well unless they are ... like put there to clown and entertain the audience while the real guys are stealing in the back LOL). This kind of person votes for Orange or GC to bring him/her the glory

JW actress cannot act. That is a huge part of the problem.

Another huge part is the script, that makes JW a cry baby. Thats 30-yr old woman with skeletons in the closet and she sits there and WHINES without doing any work on herself. She lacks basic skills like self reflection and communication, and even more basic skills, like WILLINGNESS to resolve things in a positive way. She wants easy tantrum way... just like it was done to her.
She is greedy to get everything by taking it away from others, JUST LIKE it was taken away from her, ....... so she never ever grows up.
I dislike watching a little pouty girl throwing a temper tantrum for 45 episodes.

JW actress is terribly bad, she cannot act, her face is always the same, she is super stiff
