i wanted to watch 2026 kdrama 'The Husband" and the site I went to had THIS under that title, and by the time I noticed something is wrong, I was taken by the crazy antics slapstic comedy of 3 really good male actors lmao my favorite from Heroes Next Door, greenflag ML from Filing for Love, and the riot KitchenSoldier/AgentKimBuddy

so ... here I am ... this is a total... CharlieChaplin of 21st century kinda humor

i am bothered with the "shock element" of such bloody scenes. and a total lack of real storyline and character development
It is truly a cartoon, just lots of shocker scenes and no real content

the two other adjushis are THE only real content here

ep1 was filmed so hodge podge it was hard to watch - but I am very interested in the topic, so I persisted.

Ep 2 is real... EVERYTHING THAT PROP. MANAGER SAID IS FROM REAL LIFE IN THE USA - that kind of property manager is the usual.... And the drama building president - is the usual...
This drama does NOT show the usual USA apartment tricks - owners get fined for silly small made-up violations, then the case is handed off to building lawyers, who create huge fees and TAKE THE APARTMENT TO COLLECT THE OWED MONEY :) That is non-judicial foreclosure... And there are judicial foreclosures, where the building sues an apartment owner for bogus stuff, corrupt judge condemns the owner, and then building attorneys charge so much money that the owner's apartment has to be taken in foreclosure to pay off the building attorney fees.

and yeah, Board and property manager do steal /skim from apartment complexes in the USA, and nobody does anything about it esp if owners run illegal vacation rentals i.e. huge income for a remote owner
and yeah the first step is to rig Board elections - I have been to so many elections where that happened
Just do internet search for non-judicial foreclosures, fraud in HOAs, HOA hell, HOA horror story, unlawful collections, etc

oh ep 48 starts getting real lmao so that is a nice comeback to real stuff

I was thinking that very simple scenes like FL's dad on his cell phone over a pillow while lying on his belly and then getting up - simple stuff that adds up so much liveliness and movement. His eyes at the table scene were hilarious

Very interesting! FL actress is quite good in her acting, and she has such an interesting and diverse role, spanning everything from arrogant jerk to a very emphatetic person. That acting ability is rare. Also her script is interesting, varied and complex
ML actor is ... mediocre at best. I am not sure why he was picked when he totally mismatches with FL actress

ep 48 has no subs yet but it is clear what is going on - Team Nasty Women is bisching like crazy.

a drama is NOT supposed to be a webtoon.... A drama is not a "cartoon". A drama is supposed to be a story, and there are principles to good storytelling, and also, it is supposed to be a lot more ... shall I say... complex, sophisticated and deep.

So the drama gets real only in ep 47 min .. 20? when FL is told by her male friend that she was just fooling around, and HB is told that only he showed any effort

Then FL gets up and going super fast.. But there wont be much time to see her failing and trying again. She got off the hook super easy

It would have been a lot more interesting if ep 47 was a lot earlier bc it is SURE that FL wont be able to sustain this immediately and will have to struggle a lot

wow I am up to END of ep 46 and FL is still pushing away ML bc her family told her so... and then in ep 47, ML does ****ALL**** the work in getting back together...

FL's grandma finally accepted that she cannot think nor do without guidance of her husband bc she is INHERENTLY imcompetent.

SO THE MESSAGE IS THERE HAS TO BE A MAN TO LEAD OR ELSE EVERYTHING FALLS APART BC WOMEN ARE INCOMPETENTLY DUMB

THE HOT PILE OF SCRIPT. Booooo to the writer. The writer is a woman and is pushing this sexist propaganda. No wonder Korean women do not have kids anymore. The society wants them to be zombies and if they have kids, they are STUCK DEAD for sure

Since the West is pushing SUPPOSEDLY independent women, of course Koreans are not gonna like it, however,

Grandpa nicely socked it to Grandma in ep 45 minute 18. He told her in plain Korean that she is wasting her life having foolish meaningless thoughts. And EVERY single female character in this drama is like that.

FL's mom is a cemented hard core hater and hahypocrite not even brought down with radiation therapy, Grandma is a total dinosaur caked stupid, her only good scene is ep 46 min 2, demonstration of a perfect revenge - be happy and forget the bully :) but the stupid dumb Aunt spoiled it with her whining... Wow that Aunt has the brain of pea size, really
Eun Bin is a little spoiled brat who cannot even have a shoehorn thing and feels hurt bc *she* is incompetent,
FL is a little girl in adult body. Aunt as well
SR is a slave driver mean stupid person

NONE of the women in this drama are worth anything and it is already the end of the drama.
It was ok to start like this but to keep them dumb and ignorant like this to the very end is UNFORGIVABLE.

Min So was the only one with any brain cells, but she was a guest from the USA. THE MESSAGE IS CLEAR - IF A KOREAN WOMAN IS TO HAVE ANY BRAIN CELLS, SHE NEEDS TO IMMIGRATE TO THE USA
