I feel cheated.
The drama went into a deep hole with DumbMi strategizing her stupid wedding plan - and we complained - so we got to see ONE good episode of BH standing up to JM and essentially telling her - hey you Dumb Mi, cut that stupid bs and come with me!

But then after ONE good episode - we get this hot pile of script, all made by drama characters doing VERY stupid things/ Anything from leaving SH all alone in a store without the door bell .

SO I FEEL CHEATED. At this point, I will either quietly drop, or I will hatewatch this drama and just shred it any time I see cringe. That's my revenge lmao I will memorize writer and director and NEVER watch anything from them.

Actually - if SR really died - I will take that as a good plot. It is realistic :) it is a good lesson to all watchers never to do stupid stuff like trusting someone who you KNOW for sure is a serial killer and who you KNOW for sure wants to get rid of you once they use you.

But hey this drama is on the very edge of a cliff and jumping off

He was redeemable before - if he came back from kidnapping and begged for forgiveness - but NO he continued further, just kept marching into HELL -
and he went to far and there is no return from this - siding with HY for paper company to take over Dream, swindling SR, etc

If JH is going to redeem himself now - thinking that JM is dead and he somehow caused - and if he kills HY and then jumps off the cliff, I will be perfectly fine with it, let's get this drama over with at ep 111 and stop suffering watching this stale pond of cheesy moves

I feel I am taking a medical class on psychopathy and sociopathy - the criminal ones like JR - it is all MJ's mom fault for taking away HY her son - but JR never thinks that she actually is a murderer so it is her own fault -

so you have to carefully shop around and pick dramas that dont have it or have less of it

right now, daily Our Happy Days is gender balanced. Highly recommended.
Pearl in Red is a gory soap but is also gender balanced

Filing for Love is ... on the edge of being very cheesy... One step in wrong direction and the drama is super sexist..

Kitchen Soldier so far is very realistic on gender imbalance in a way that is ... honest and watchable

I would think that HY and Grandpa made a deal with JM to act as SR so that stock would not go down. JM is officially dead, so JM has to take some identity and Grandpa needs a heir. So I would think JM would agree to this deal. HOWEVER, then HY is gonna kill JM one day :)

Grandpa is D U M B, not a strategist - if you are going to be a "strategist" and keep your enemy close, you have to strictly monitor them - and HY was left freely roaming around

and HY is evil incarnate, a perfect psycho sociopath. Such a perfect sweet talking liar. She is like a fix in a hen house bc she takes advantage of ppl's stupidities. SHE IS SO COMMON IN REAL LIFE. all characters in this drama are very common, except BH. He is super noble and men like that are super rare. But BH is not very smart :) and that is why he is so noble - bc he is ... just ... not smart to see what he is doing - enabling Dumb Mi

At this point, watching this is like a hate watch to see how much more stupid this can get.

A "copycat" is a disapproving or lighthearted term for someone who imitates, mimics, or adopts the behaviors, style, or ideas of another.
So "copycat" is very different than copy :) I never claimed anyone was copying..

Well I dont watch webtoons - and most international audience does not. So we have no idea about webtoons

There are tons of dramas with cooking BUT
Bon Appetit is the first drama that used the trick of overhyped animation to show appreciation of food

And so that is why we associate that trick with Bon Appetit
and that's why I said copycat - I meant copycat of how it looks in a drama

When I watched Bon Appetit, nobody mentioned Kitchen Soldier Webtoon
So Kitchen Soldier web novel came in 2017, updated in 2019, webtoon started in 2019, ended iin 2023.

Bon Appetit web novel ran 2022-2023. Seems like there was no webtoon.

So Bon Appetit drama might have gotten the idea from Kitchen Soldier Webtoon.

OR BOTH got the idea from an even older webtoon

In any case, Bon Appetit showed it in a drama first, popularized that trick on the big screen first, and is kinda associated with that trick. It is a huge and important part of the plot.

HY ordered JH to seduce SR - and JH complied - and so SR trusted HY and went to a Korean hospital with HY by her side and the doctor was bribed by HY and killed SR

HY said it herself - it does not make any sense - Grandpa knows that JH is HY's son, so then JH would be his grandson... and even if that were not there, it would be impossible/risky to uphold the falsity - faking DNA test would be too risky
