yeah good point FL is behaving as a toxic parent just like all other toxic parents in this drama. Imo there is not one good parent in this drama except biomom to her stepdaughter.

For me today's episode will be subbed tomorrow, so I didnt see it yet. Of course ML's mom is gonna lie, as usual. She wants the DoormatChick as her in-law.

FL has Bumpkin, he is honest and always crystal clear
And ML has bio mom on this issue, she is crystal clear. Otherwise - he has nobody to trust, everyone close to him lies big time to him.

I would now like to debunk the myth that GR is somehow "martyr" or "victim" ah poor GR... !!!! HECK NO! GR is effectively evil. By lying, hiding, she manipulates others and harms them FOR YEARS - and thus she essentially maims and mauls and wounds people for LIFE -
she lies to her own kid... she owns him possessively... She just disappeared with the kid without the word and harmed father and son ...
and now she is gonna do her anaconda thing on Bumpkin and his mom, who she has been leeching on already

And as for her "sacrifices" - sure she had a hard start in life and then many bad things she CHOSE to do - heck she could have asked others to do their laundry, she did not have to take the dad with them, etc
So what if GR is insecure and lacks confidence? IS THAT AN EXCUSE FOR HER TO KEEP LYING AND CHEATING? Are we repeating the worst cringe Dynamite Kiss plot???

Get a life, GR, as @eli said, get a therapist and GROW UP already!
I will drop this drama if there is no movement forward. FL is the dumbest character in the drama and in many dramas. FL script is TRASH and the actress is terrible

As for ML - he is equally guilty now. Sure, FL started the mess 8 yrs ago, and keeps it going now, BUT ML WILLINGLY JOINED FL IN CREATING MORE MESS ...
As @Minna said, the leads are orbiting each other but never talking honestly. That kind of script is CRINGE TRASH if it lasts for more than ... 1 episode. It is just immature elementary school script

But for sure, his friend lied to him, and I think his own family too.
My overall conclusion was that ML has nobody he can trust and everyone around him lies to him and manipulates him, and he dutifully and trustingly follows like a dog on a leash

I havent seen that. I should check it out, bc I really liked Spooky in Love until the drama's mid.... then it floppwed... and other ppl mentioned that Master's Love is better.
