Their snarky banter is bc FL keeps complaining to ML that she misses his attention and care, and she is essentially INVITING HIM to kiss her as@ and chase her again and be her loyal slave again, but he is smart not to give in :) She took him for granted and now she must pay.

FL has to chase ML. So far, he was chasing her and she kept flaking out and bailing out. UNTIL she grows up and becomes very very sure he is what she wants - EITHER HB OR HER MOMMY , until FL grows up to stand up to her hater mom and hater grandma - the drama cannot move on.

Hm she wrote The Tale of Lady Ok, which is supposedly a good drama that I plan to watch - it is only 16 eps though, and this is 50, it requires totally different planning. Her other dramas are not known.

WHATEVER HAPPENED, this drama flopped by having super slow stuck stagnant cheesy meaningless plot for too long.

All that "date who I tell you to" plot should not have taken more than 20 eps to start resolving and moving on. Little by little. By ep 44 it should have been mostly extinct and only weak remnants left to resolve. ML/FL should have had been obedient for a short time and then rebelling - there should have been like 2-3 episodes of blind obedience, 10 episodes of active rebelling, 10 episodes of reconciliation and getting together. ML/FL should have had a much shorter breakup and should have gotten together long time ago, I would say at least living together by ep 35 and then they would have "tricky fun moments" encountering leftover hostilities and reconciling their differences.

BUT THE FAMILY HATE AND CHILDREN BLINDLY OBEYING IT IS LASTING FULL FORCE TRU THE LAST EP 44 AND ON!!!

I explained in detail where the drama got lost - they got stuck on creating plot the easy cheap way, by families saying "you cannot date bc we hate that other family / it is socially unacceptable" and all the kids obeyed. THAT PLOT GOT OLD VERY FAST.
So the pacing of the drama is the peril, the drama got STALE, STUCK in a rut, in a very toxic cesspool situation, instead of resolving the issues bit by bit and moving on. At the speed the drama is going, they need another 50 episodes to resolve all issues.

**** The problem is the cheap cheesy incompetent writer, who does not know how to resolve the issues. **** So the writer will just drag the "cliche AI generated plot" until the last minute, and then magically marry ML-FL in the last minute of the last episode because .... a comet falls from the sky or something like that...

ACCEPT that you are asking what you are asking for. You are asking for porn. The end of ep 4 is porn, it is NC and for some reason gay drama got green light to show that and straight dramas are censored down. Interesting "privilege" isnt it? meanwhile, straight dramas have MUCH MUCH MUCH more emotional workouts and deeper connections, talking, more nuance and more DETAIL of how two people really come together.

I wrote what I saw from the side as an external observer. That's my gift to those who are willing to see it bc I suspect that within the BL community there are those who think more like me and they too are harassed and slandered as "puritan". I wrote for them, not for the aggressive ones who like porn and aggression/violence/games in their dramas.

First, any relationship with tinges of violence or aggression is toxic and is doomed to fail rather fast. Second, seeing NC and such pornographic details, no matter how short!!!! is TMI and voyeuring. Sure the drama needs to inform the audience that two people are involved, but it is enough to see them kiss and jump the sofa or go into a room. We do NOT need to see what they do in private,
I TRUST THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, and I do NOT need to be voyeuring on them. I am busy living my life.

What I need to see from a drama is how people resolve various inner and outer conflicts and how they improve their character.

also, straight dramas are watched by families and kids and it feels like they are a lot more censored on one hand, and on the other hand, have a lot more CONTENT to explore, so wasting time on steamy scenes is just .... taking time from the story. Esp since a straight romance is often more than just two ppl jumping on each other, there is a lot more subtlety and emotional work to be explored. Also even when the audience asks for skinship - and Hwood users do - everyone knows is it is quite crude so they easily back off with their requests.

Personally I appreciate straight kdramas for their lack of TMI scenes and voyeuring and most bl reminds me of Hwood cesspool of s.x and violence and I dont watch it.

This bl drama has relatively good content plot so I am watching it as a thriller so all these TMI scenes just spoil it for me. I am straight, though. See all the BL audience here all extatic. Oh, I almost forgot to answer that question: all kdramas are censored. So the fact that straight dramas are censored more harshly than BL means that SOMEONE approved BL to show NC. . Why? Who? I will let you think about that yourself. Gay ppl are very often wealthy and/or in high positions of power, and they are very openly prominent in the entertainment industry.
More gay ppl means less kids and also less traditional families and culture.

The Prosecutor is faced with a guy who is different - on one hand, much more submissive and humble than others, much softer and more polite, and on the other hand, much stronger and straight forward. Someone who genuinely flatters him. Someone who is always touching him like he touched something electric. A sensitive predator like the Prosecutor registers all those signs and HE KNOWS that the other guy likes him. And that is appealing . And on the other hand, this is the son of murderer and the Prosecutor HATES him
And also both men are closeted which makes the frustration even higher

So the conflict comes out as an angry bite kiss to punish Mr Lee for being so tempting and so disgusting and frustrating at the same time. This is the kind of kiss a very frustrated angry person would give to a lover who cheated, is out of reach, dumped you, etc. It is the LOVE HATE kiss, I want you but I cant have you and YOU are gonna pay for it.

The Prosecutor is a seriously messed up person bc he has NEVER really dealt with anything. He is so mighty entitled that he always was able to have his way. So he is frustrated beyond hell

and Prosecutor finds esp ppl like that and communicates by inflicting pain so that he can feel SOMETHING by seeing the other person suffer.

this is actually a mental illness of sorts and both ppl are gonna take a long time to heal from this - but first each has to put in the effort - and the prosecutor is not even aware of the issue and also feels entitled to dole it over others

So yeah this is a start of a very messy and toxic wounded SITUATIONSHIP
