MBC IS AT FAULT bc this cannot be getting closer to Yang Mi Who Swallowed the Sun. It is episode 80, almost, Jang Mi cannot be too similar to her dumb stupid naive self she was at the start of the drama.
WE NEED TO SEE JANG MI CHANGING, TRANSFORMING. Is that a concept that MBC has issues with? That women learn grow and improve?

the MBC production is at fault by ONLY putting out stupid FLs, and this drama was not advertised properly either.

Someone at MBC needs to change asap as clearly MBC has huge issues. MBC should have learned from the huge flop that Woman Who Swallowed the Sun was- the major issue was that FL and ML were DUMB and plot was cheesy and FL was essentially the same from ep 1 to ep 120, except better clothes and ability to stay calm. Essentially, a cheap lazy cheesy crude writer. Seems like MBC did not get the message yet???

KBS got the message. After the flop and complaints that Graceful Liar was dumb, they put Our Happy Days and Pearl in Red and both dramas are NOT dumb. They also majorly improved their weekend drama. KBS is doing well.

Now again MBC put a dumb character as THE lead character. Kdramas are sexist and women are either dumb and kind OR villains. but taking it this far to dumb is ... really dumb. It is going to kill MBC daily dramas. Hey MBC, WAKE UP!

Again this does not have to be Agent 007 smart quality because these are ordinary people. We the audience are not requiring a special forces thriller... It is totally ok that JM team makes mistakes and is not the smartest in the world.... . They do NOT have to be mad rocket scientists... But they have to have SOME common sense and GROWTH.

Some ideas for improvement are in the spoiler. I invite all audience to provide suggestions for the script.
Even small changes that show that team JM is trying would help a LOT.

Yeah Bon Appetit ML was fantastic, his enthusiasm and energy was so wonderful to watch

Ppl say that this Roh Jeong-hui was ok in 18 again or something - I forgot what ppl say - BUT AS A SUPPORT ROLE . ANd since then she got plastic surgery, lost too much weight, and went totally under but is still on the screen and ALL her dramas are flops - Witch, Crushology, Our Univ.

kdramas suffer from sexism so ... a complex and common sense smart FL is hard to come by :) They are mostly loser clutzes - dumb and kind, OR villains. A common sense strong woman is hard to come by. The situation is slightly improving. But the audience likes sexism LOL that is the problem LOL

Yes FL actress from Our Universe clearly gets her roles not based on her merit. So many ppl said that so there must be something behind it.

ML actor from Our Universe is a WONDERFUL actor - so expressive! - and a masterful comedian. He is one of my fav actors. Imo OU was one of his best roles ever!!!!!! So complex and he nailed it all - he acted a wide range from being a jerk to being a good dad, beign romantic, being duped, going through healing the family trauma -

and it was pleasure to watch him in OU!!!! HE CONNECTS! he was sooo good with the baby. So many ppl had ML syndrome :) as we all wanted to see a LOT more of him.

FL is a piece of cement, a plastic skinny doll incapable of acting, incapable of showing emotion, always looking tired and lifeless. Cannot connect with anyone. Totally piece of cement to the baby. Overal take - Totally avoid any drama with this actress :)

I dropped this trash after ep 5, i think and I just came back to post this comment bc I now see the pattern.

Kdramas are catering to the huge audience of immature women. Dynamite Kiss, Surely Tomorrow, Our Universe, Practical Guide to Love, Still Shining, Yumi's Cells season 2, even Would you Marry Me, etc etc etc etc etc ARE ALL ABOUT AN IMMATURE WEAK SNOWFLAKE WOMAN GRABBING A NICE GUY FOR GOOD AND ESSENTIALLY USING HIM

Very young women who have no life experience find this very appealing, and also older women who just never matured and are still alone or in bad relationships love to eat these cheap soapy rosey delulu stories.
This drama needs to be served with a subscription to free youtube videos by Stephan Speaks relationship coach for women.

In short, my dear ones, the drama is duping the audience, and some love it, so these dramas still exist.

IF YOU DONT LIKE THIS KIND OF STUFF, then my sincere advice to you is to drop the drama asap as soon as you see the red flags - if the FL does not grow SIGNIFICANTLY by the middle of the drama, you should have dropped it.
