Which ep and which minute scene is that? Who is Bo Ra?

Well we didnt see "everything" yet - we never saw any explicit scenes OR HINTS that Chairman ever gave orders to kill anyone.
But maybe we just don't know yet. It would be cheesy to pull it out in ep 83 but it is never too late, since the Chairman is still a mystery and we need more info on how much he really monitors, how much he really knows, and how he thinks - is having a twin ok? is it ok that HY is not bio mom? .

This is so tricky, how to accomplish revenge AND stay on Chairman's good side, without him messing it up..... BC CHAIRMAN IS A CEMENTED CRIMINAL, the only thing that matters is his company stock. So he will let CEO Chae kill whoever she wants as long as the stock is ok. So, Chairman and CEO Chae are on the same side and have money and connections.

If the Chairman thinks the existence of the twin messes up his company, he might let HY kill JM.

So I think the best solution is to keep the twins secret for now and tell the Chairman that HY is not SR's mom, and prove it with DNA tests fakeSR-HY and fakeSR-Chairman.
That for sure will make the Chairman kick HY out and it can be done in very quiet ways that do not disturb the stock....

and only when HY is out, tell about the twins. I think it might be necessary to also wait until SR recovers, bc I am not sure if the Chairman will like that twins exist. It is best that SR is functional when twins are announced public.

ah a good point... that is possible! My take on Lapdog's repeated reluctance and dislike of the order to kill Ssanghal was that he was unwilling to kill his "loyal employee" and also that he is getting the message that CEO Chae is a cruel killer and will later kill Lapdog too

But perhaps Lapdog did not kill Ssanghal, as you suggested... I didnt think of that bc so far Lapdog did everything HY asked him to do... but maybe this is the first time he disobeys, for the reasons above?

Chairman giving orders to kill... hm... the drama so ar did not show us that ... but maybe will later :) bc it is entirely possible. We know very little about the Chairman. He seems more dumb than necessary, e.g. he never did a DNA test on SR and HY, seems like??? or did he do it?... and decided to keep quiet and keep his granddaughter until he can kick out HY?... that would be some awsome acting for 30 yrs...

What we know now for sure is that CHAIRMAN PROTECTS HIS COMPANY BY ANY MEANS; IF ANY CRIME WOULD TANK HIS STOCK, THE CHAIRMAN WILL HIDE THE CRIME, and he serves delulu bs how it never happened, how his person never did it, etc.... So.... Perhaps Lapdog informed the Chairman he will kill Ssanghal and the Chairman said ok go ahead, I know nothing about it... Perhaps Lapdog hinted not to worry bc prison is so violent.. and Chairman said ok great ...

The relationship between Chairman and Lapdog is super interesting... Lapdog clearly behaves like a doting husband to HY and Chairman hinted he knows that - but he never did anything about it - to protect his stock and his granddaughter?...
ALSO WE NEVER SAW THE CHAIRMAN GIVING ORDERS TO THE LAPDOG OR ASKING THE LAPDOG TO REPORT TO HIM. That is fishy as theoretically, the Chairman is Lapdog's boss and just loaned him to the CEO. So the Chairman allowed the husband-wife swindler pair to thrive unchecked for 30 years... And had to "hire" the GoldDiggers duo to serve as his informants... What is this Chairman really thinking.... ?

If you kill even that bit of the humor - which YOU noticed and I did not - there was absolutely NOTHING funny in ep 1 - then there is nothing Korean left of this drama.... Also... there is nothing that makes the audience think that perhaps that world of cruel business and politics is NOT real :)

So you are basically asking the Disney to kill kdramas in their entirety and convert kdramas into cdramas / Hwood in their entirety :) Cdramas and Hwood are the same brainwashing ideas :)

Lack of humor is cdrama red flag - pun intended - it is that signature vibe of utmost self importance, aka utmost ignorance and blindness, utmost EGOTISM. It is censorship brainwashing 100%

So perhaps the best way to get Grandpa is to tell him that HY is not SR's mom. Let Grandpa kick her out of the house. Only when HY is totally out of the way, THEN tell him about the twin.

Yeah there can be some cringe humor in kdamas, but .... there is a LOT more :) I have seen all kinds of humor in kdramas, from crude humor like fart humor to majorly sophisticated jester humor and wicked satire. Imo S Koreans are MASTERS of this jester humor and satire :)
cdrama by default cannot be, since there is no jestering in China :) you try, you go to a labor camp :) kinda situationship :)

Real kdramas have wicked dark humor that is also compassionate, light, and hopeful, it is the humor o Count of Monte Cristo digging that tunnel and saying - yeah the mud is in my eyes now, and ruining my hair and nails, but I am gonna get me a perm and a manicure real soon when I exit through the tunnel. It is the kind of humor that does not put you down to humiliate you, like Eastern European humor, it is the kind of humor that you use in Buddhist practice to see yourself clearly and objectively, neutrally, and finding your antics amusingly pathetic - and CHEERING YOURSELF ON TO TRY AGAIN. Using that humor, that jestering, that satire, to see things objectively and IMPROVE :)

That's what i LOVE about kdrama humor :)

To me. S Korean kdramas have AMAZING sophistication in the humor. Just absolutely amazing. Kdramas tell heavy topics with humor that signifies the acceptance of the current dark situation AND ALSO acknowledgment of the Light Beyond Everything and Life that Permeates Everything and will lead to healing, and the strong belief that your own messed up, feeble, yet brave and honest persistent efforts done in the Right Way will produce positive results. S Koreans are wiser than most and have some understanding of what constitutes right effort. Those are basic Eastern philosophical concepts. (Christians dont have it :)

So this "outside lens" looking at you digging that long dark tunnel to Light is looked with compassionate and light, humorous way, like an adult would be amused by children's play - and also helping the child to evolve the playing into "real hunting skills".

It is rather sophisticated "vibe" permeating everything, so it might be easy to miss, as there is no equivalent in Hwood or cdramas. Maybe only some parts of Steven Chow's work from Hong Kong, and in very old american movies, like Groundhog Day.

A real kdrama is very much similar vibe like that movie Groundhog day. But the problem is, such movies and series have been extinct in the USA since... about ... 2006? 2010? Groundhog day, Truman Show, Idiocracy, Legally Blonde, Smoke Signals, Twilight Zone, The Apartment, White Chicks, ... even Selfie Ignite... are all in far far far past. Mission accomplished :)

Where there is no humor, there is no freedom. I hope that i clear. Society is only free when it can laugh at all kinds of topics in great depth. if there are not even jesters, then it is too dangerous to speak any truth.

Real kdramas are going extinct too as we speak and this Perfect Crown drama is one proof of it :) I really dont see kdrama in this :) For one, it lacks that lightnss and humor. ANGELS FLY BC THEY TAKE THEMSELVES LIGHTLY. As soon as there is this serious, heavy note like "ah we are so important" - which is a signature note of cdramas - it is a red flag to RUN for the hills :)

CEO Chae was getting so blood thirsty aggressive and went after ... Ssangal - success; JM - success then backfired; and is still after Ssangal's gfriend, Professor, JM, SH, BH, TP, ....
After a slap in her face ... in 38 episodes.... what can she try now?
Since Professor and Ssangal's gfriend are unwilling to cooperate, they might become urgent targets...
CEO Chae is a pathological liar and murderer and beyond any repair. She will have to either rot in "prison" or die, or in the worst case, continue freely living as a criminal.

When will JH figure out that >>>>HY went looking for her son not bc she missed him as a son but bc she wanted 100% trustworthy help. <<<< We saw scenes of her thinking that.

First, HY needs Lapdog and the SR-JH marriage to get JH in; then she and Lapdog kill the Chairman, then HY becomes the Chairman - and then HY will kill LapDog too... Lapdog is getting the hint, he disliked murdering Ssangal....

What do you guys think, when will finally that blindly loyal LapDog break down and remove HY or JH? realizing that HY and JH are gonna snag the Dream Group and leave the Lapdog in the dust.

What if anything will make JH snap out of "I AM ENTITLED TO HAVE EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE I WANT" attitude of his mother? I still believe JH has it in him to be a loving person with integrity, but it is also possible he never makes it.

What if anything will make Chairman snap put of "the only thing that matters is my company and its stock"? By now I am 80% certain that he is a lost case and ALWAYS puts company first, even if HY kills 1000 people....

I mistakenly thought that the medical records are current i.e. HY knows where SR is. Nope, HY doesnt know yet where SR is. Those are old SR's medical records.

imo it needs better dialogues so that it doesnt have to use those kinds of plots.

I had FUN with the first few episodes, and by ep 7, I was about done watching it... so just in case, watched 9 full episodes, then ff through 10, 11 and then watched most of 16.
It got tiresome by the end to watch Louis and BonSil who did not change much. Their behaviors just didnt fit with the adults they were supposed to be by then. Louis could have learned to get himself water and to put catchup on by himself lol And the way they talk .. could have grown. No baby whining anymore please :)
It's ok - it was a love between two fools :) Both were portrayed as slightly mentally disabled. So watching 9 episodes was enough for me.

I had fun with the side characters, Ma Ri was fun :) the acting of that actress and also the script was hilarious - "stitching before going to bed", ha? lmao

So bye bye Lous and Bok Sil story, it was lovely, and we are all sure you are living happily ever after. What an epic love story.
AND THEN LOUIS AND BOK SIL, THE TWO FOOLS, LOVED EACH OTHER MORE THAN ALL LEARNED AND SMART PEOPLE IN THE WORLD.

Hm why do I feel like I am watching... Pursuit of Jade or something like that? Totally looks like a cdrama. A gaunt girl-like idol-face ML, idol hype, and basically - two arrogant psychos getting together to rule the world.

the red flag for me is FL woman-child who has no voice, literally - who cannot communicate, speak up, explain herself, ask for what she needs; who goes around lying and hiding, and doing stupid roundabout things. It all screams: THIS WOMAN HAS NO CONFIDENCE NOR PERSONAL POWER AND THINKS OF HERSELF AS THE LOWEST. One short word to describe all that is sexism. And fear of mysogony

I think an older excentric SML was a perfect match that fits the script - an older, grumpy, spinster bachelor who finally finds some sweet spring chicken, and abuses his power position.
A younger male would never be a boss of such and important department and with the power to just hire FL without asking anyone; a younger boss would never be close to Gold family; a younger boss would never go for FL bc she was too old fashioned conservative; AND also a younger male boss would have 100000000 women chasing him and would forget this simpleton one in 2 seconds. Also, a younger boss would be closer to ML's age and FL could get tempted to consider him....

So - the boss HAD TO BE older and rather prickly and a lot less attractive than the ML. The boss was meant as a little bit of disturbance and also to help FL.... NOT for a love triangle :)

This drama is NOT about 2 young males chasing one doe and she picks between the two. FL was never supposed to even feel a flutter for this "uncle".
BUT the boss would have been an ok as a romantic partner for her, IF they had matched as personalities and the drama had planned to take a totally different route.
