It is very hard finding a non-plasticized actress who eats... Maybe only dailies still have normal looking women...
Some male actors still get away with more natural look and eating :) .. Usually thriller, dailies, long family dramas, and family dramas actors... but some rom coms too. .
Off the top of my head: Kdrama Lucifer from 2007 mydramalist.com/494-lucifer ML is a very memorable character.... and totally "genuine" how it is filmed you can even see the flaws in the skin...
And recent kdrama Scarecrow has a real-looking ML, .... it is an excellent drama, the ML actor is a fantastic actor too... His character is very complex... and so reckless and naive and suffers a lot. I could barely watch and still did not finish bc I dont want to see what happened to him...
Spring Fever 2025 kdrama and basically anything with that ML actor. I learned the hard way that everything he produces is quality. Spring Fever looked so red neck to me, the humor was cringe, the snotty urban FL was cringe, but the drama is fantastic
Heroes Next Door 2025 kdrama is fun. The ML is a really good actor and the SMLs are amazing fun too. The Winning Try 2025 kdrama is also very very nice
Speaking of fun, I love ML actor who is in kmovies Agent Jun and Agent Jun 2, he is a riot comedian. I also love him in Love Divine, a very old kdrama or kmovie.
Shopping King Louis is a really fun older kdrama and ML actor is just fantastic creative actor. His older dramas are more creative and I like them, but his new ones like Boyfriend on Demand is STUPID, he is just poker faced, or even currently airing See you at Work Tomorrow is borderline too bland but at least healthy.
Uncle and FL from KimChi Family are in current kdrama Pearl in Red, and Uncle there is a super good red neck villain, he is like an old Mexican bandit from cowboy movies One of the male leads, Hyun Jun, perhaps has some plastic done? but it is not obvious, and he looks like a person who has normal weight. He is pale, though, never went outside. But that is a new rising star, he is a very good actor, you should check him out. Fast forward to his scenes. His script is also great, he has some very good profound things to say
Current daily Our Happy Days has ML who is a flakey scrawny thing but acts creatively sometimes, but has SML who is genuine, no plastic and acts very well, and most actors are not plasticized. It is a very high quality kdrama. The villains are super slimey and super fun. . Just finished airing daily First man has a great ML and a great FL, none of them are plasticized, but the drama hm... did not turn quite to my liking. They mad FL too dumb and dragged the plot The same FL is in 2025 daily Queen's House and I like that drama after ep 25 :) The male villain is very complex
Currently airing family weekend drama Recipe for Love has all kinds of non-plasticized actors and actresses, and it is really fun to watch. An amazing actor is the Uncle. That drama is worth watching for Uncle's scenes, that is a very well trained actor who acts very creatively. And looks totally genuine. I think only in recent episodes he looks skinnier... ? FL's dad is also fun. And ML's dad was the Chinese envoy in Bon Apettit Your Majesty
I also liked older family dramas My Father is Strange, Once Again, Five Enough, All About My Mother, etc. They are mostly non-plasticized.
Recently finished kdrama The Legend of Kitchen Soldier had tons of non-plasticized but there are like 2 female characters there who show up on the screen once in a blue moon... It was funny that one of the "armchair commanders" was totally the urban metrosexual look and had the ML role in the very steamy Spice up Our Love but his character fro there - a pleasing as@ kissing robot - totally fit into the military drama lmao
2022 kdrama Soundtrack #1 was the key to my understanding how actors and actresses slid so far down into plastics and not eating. ML there is the very famous actor Park Hyuong Sik and he looks NORMAL in that drama. But then watch Burried Hearts and you see he got so skinny.
I also liked 2025 krom com Positively Yours - I think ML might be plasticized a little but he can act and it is a very solid how-people-get-married drama, and of course Twinkling Watermellon, that ML actor (the young dad) is so talented for comedy
Oh I just remembered one character i LOVED watching - the gangster villain from Lawless Layer, Lee Joon Gi's drama. I loved the judge Cha - perfect villain, female - and the Major. Omg his role is remarkable!!!!! a super fantastic actor, and totally "local flavor" role

There is another one, SML the gangster in 2025 kdrama The Nice Guy. The drama is trash, btw... and imo only the SML is memorable, for his acting and his presence. He has small eyes yet his eyes are A LOT more impactful than any big suregery induced eyes bc he has FOCUS in his eyes so they are piercing, and he carries himself well, so he has PRESENCE - which most other actors do not, even if they are in a very confident role

wow MJ actor improved... I am not talking about his crying scenes. I am talking when his Aunt told him, etc. Finally. And HJ actor got even better too. And somehow he has really good script. His scenes are awesome. Wow that guy is gonna be famous
ah finally it dawned on me why I like this drama so much. I just made my first apricot jam from my own tree. Picked them, prepped them, cooked them. Just finished like 30 mins ago. Clearning is more work than making it.... I am kinda living like KimChi family.... and should expand more into that direction :) and yeah i feed ppl and heal ppl but since I am more on the vegetarian and green leafies side and more into Indian and that part of the world foods, .... not everyone is enthusiastic here, they like mean, salty, no veggies, ... yuch I WOULD LOVE to make kimchi, that is one of my favorite foods and back in the USAi I eat it every day bc you can buy it in the supermarket for cheap and it is very good, , but here while visiting in the boonies there arent even the ingredients, there is no nappa cabbage, squid juice, etc. I will have to be creative... I need a recipe with super simple ingredients

I skipped watching all new kdramas and watched 2011 KimChi Family aka Fermentation Family kdrama. Wow it is soapy in some ways but also it is genuinely Korean, very ***warm*** LOVING family drama, with lots of NICE characters who are wise and smart and have lots of good things to say and do.... and with actors/actresses before plastic surgery and super skinny tired lifeless on diets and with pale faces. I found all eps except 20 and 22 and I really really really enjoyed it. The scenery is fantastic, you get some useful cooking lessons, acting is ... hm... not always great, ML actor carries the drama, he is energetic and expressive so it works out. The main villains are all great and some supporting characters are pretty good. Hm, what I am saying ... is that sisters, uncle and Picasso are not acted well... everyone else is perfect, actually.... The theme is that signature kdrama community vibe and warm personal relationships and resolving things to the best for all.

Well too bad I could not watch anymore, but what I saw, was enough, This is a warm family drama, genuine kdrama, sure it has some soap, but it is very well done. Sure it has lots of plot and happenings and could spend more time on character development. Overall, it is a nice genuine kdrama watch.
