IT jobs are a great way to make a very good living and be independent and valued... And it is easy to get an IT degree, e.g in databases...
Women are more likely to provide a good customer support and get along with coworkers... and lead a team...

BUT the price is entering a field that is traditionally "male" and women run away, stupidly thinking that being in a computer field will make them lose boyfriends... Heck, you get boyfriends if you join IT!!! LOL

Women also CAN enter relatively low-physical "smart" jobs like being an electrician....

And woman can run small businesses, like real estate agents, etc.
With the older population these days, there are tons of jobs in elderly care....

There are LOTS of opportunities for women who are not afraid....

Moving to a big city, immigration, changing jobs, joining organizations, having friends and networks is the way to go.
Smart / greedy men understand the value of woman as someone who brings money, so they will support a capable woman.

A smart woman has to get educated about how to negotiate about pay, etc and there are programs for that and also ... good old youtube self help videos LOL

e.g. In the USA, most team leaders in IT are women, bc they get the team together and work done... bc women communicate, accomodate others, care, solve problems, keep relationships, and get the work done and keep ppl happy - and so ... you can be earning huge $$$$ leading a team of computer nerds...
