I think maybe if the writers spent more time on her character it would have helped, because I know I'm not the only one who's having a hard time warming up to her still... Like her brother - couldn't stand him but I warmed up to him after knowing his back story and seeing him shape up for a while. His transformation makes sense to me. For her, the dislike just hasn't worn off yet. Maybe it's her aggressive personality, but like I said before, maybe that's why she complements DS? That scene at her house where she pretty much told him he's the only guy who would put up with her still cracks me up.

Starting to agree w/ the ppl who said the characters are a little inconsistent in this drama...I hope she gets her shit together. Totally understand she's going through a crisis, but locking herself in her house, eating rotten food and raw eggs, continuing going to the hospital, and not even seeing GYS or people talking to her like she's in some sort of daze...it's just excessive and I didn't think of her like that and I don't want to. I found there's 2 writers working on this show, did one of them quit or something?
Also I completely expected details about the fire to show up all the way throughout the drama and I was looking forward to seeing how that created GYS and how he was later on. I don't care if they knew each other as kids...it makes perfect sense since they acted like people who've known each other before as soon as they met...last few episodes are so generic and disappointing though.
And I loved how the characters were written at first, but someone is just annoying me in every episodes now. Like the mother and the grandpa, we're supposed to just start hating them all of a sudden? Then DS trying to get YS to think she cheated...it's the sort of dumb story you think of at the last minute. Se ro's character doing a complete 180...ok, you seem nice now but old feelings die hard. And now HD is really getting my nerves too w/ how she is behaving...
This time I want to slap the writer. Gawd this is a fcking makjang! Where did the uniqueness from the beginning…
I appreciate the writer touching on some themes I hadn't seen before in a kdrama, but the last episodes are just so predictable and stuff we've too many times.
I think Doo Soo is too passive, which is why he wasn't going to end up with anyone unless he's aggressively pursued, which HD was never going to. This is where Se Ro comes in obviously. I agree, she is a bit annoying though. Now that there are heavy hints Yi Seok is going to screw up and go back to his previous self soon, I wonder if DS will go back into protector-mode towards her. I'm still confused about his feelings /intentions towards her. Especially after he's started putting the moves on Se Ro (immediately), after seeing Hong Do acting normally and speaking easily around him. Actually looks like he's still being his old self being possessive and trying to protect Se Ro from other men looking at her.

DS and HD had a sort of codependent relationship without even actually even being in one ...so he has some narcissistic traits too because he was spoiled as a kid, or at least that's what I think the writer is trying to show. You can tell he forgets about her feelings at points too where she really needs them acknowledged...both guys are doing it though. Also, I keep saying I don't know what the doctor is doing for her other than pushing her out there which is just exposure therapy that any therapist could help her with. There's a good case for why she is good for him but I still don't get why she likes or needs him as anything more than a therapist/counselor or w/e. As far as I can tell, she's so insecure that she probably can't even see that she is good for him. Narcissism is sometimes the other side of an insecure person though, which he obviously is too. I figure they're paired up because they're similar in that way.
We all know who's going to end up with who so there's 6 episodes left to make me think this couple will work.
