I feel like not enough people are talking about this show. It would be so easy to write off as cute or fluffy but I’m telling you….the deep eye contact. The heavy breathing. The absolute silence between them at times except for the sound of the cicadas. And you can feel the flush of summer heat rising between Shin and Akira. That their attraction has an element of the forbidden makes the effect of the show even more dramatic. Japanese storytelling at its finest.
So I just love this. I’m at episode 14 and the chemistry between the leads is off the charts. Also, the way their relationship develops is so well written. The acting in general is stellar and I LOVE the girl power. I’m not someone that needs a happily ever after but the leads have such amazing chemistry but I’m worried because I see foreshadowing that they will have drama (not unexpected) and tragic events will separate them. Can someone spoil me? Is it worth the angst? I don’t want to get all invested in these two for misunderstandings and tragedy to break them apart.
