Agreed. Here are a few hints for me. He was very quick to forgive her for getting his colleagues fired. He keeps reflecting on how she hasn’t changed (showing he is hyper aware of her character). He never hesitates to step in to try to shield her. Even when that bastard abusive dad threatened her at which point he was still holding a grudge. He was so into their convo when she walked him home after dislocating his arm that he missed the fact that he’d walked by his own home. There are thousands of hits.
