I’m so insanely jealous of you who are watching this on Youku. Viki is so far behind. I hate it!! Also, I love all you who are watching this on Youku and dropping spoilers here and there. Love this show. It’s such a great way to kick off the year.
i mean what would you do if you suddenly had a bunch of demons trying to kill you out of nowhere? realistically…
I had really high hopes for this show and I’m starting to doubt that anyone outside of Kim Nam Gil has real acting talent. The rest are just eye candy. We shall see. I’m one of those people that stays objective until a show has wrapped. I don’t just dive in thinking everything is perfect and determined to convince myself and others of the same the whole way through.
I’m only on ep 3 and I didn’t read the web toon but I have to admit…I find the FL annoying. It’s not the actresses fault, just how the character is written. She is shallow and seems to only serve the purpose of ratcheting up the irritation with her dramatic clinging and melt downs. You can come at me if you wish but I am just annoyed that the token female role in such an otherwise great story is written as superficial. Maybe this is premature and she will have some development but in 2023 I would like to see FL characters written as something other than boilerplate “rich, beautiful, spoiled, damsel” who doesn’t do anything but get into situations that lead to her being rescued, Is it too much to ask for a girl that gets shit done on her own?
