i got serious second lead syndrome with Legend of Anle. Gong Jung and Dilreba have potential but not enough, probably because Liu Yu Ning and Dilraba have worked together before so Luo Mingxi looks better paired with Anle. Even their clothes are like newlywed-red.

That's just so wasted. Reminds me of goodbye my princess, but the second male lead has no chemistry with the FL there.

Love makes people stupid. I hope his character improves since the fake Di Ziyuan does not spell good. She's like bad news and if he still doesn't notice, he's doomed. He needs to step up further because LMX is working his ass off just for her (Anle). I just cant fathom how he can deserve Anle when he just waited for her. While she made a name for herself and everything. They need to work together soon and i mean like no fake identities, and whatnot. Because the enemies are gaining fury and they bound to face it soon.

yeah, we all know that Anle is for Han Ye. but i'm having serious second lead syndrome. i thought drama writers have stopped this ridiculous type of character setting. a dashing second male lead doesn't deserve to be hurt.

about that, he just appears stupid to me. because he's rejecting Ren Anle because he wants to marry Ziyuan but the fact is they are same person. that's why i keep saying I hate how they wrote his character. Not even a hint of suspicion on his part. He should start investigating or noticing. Like man, the one you've been longing for is right in front of you. She's playing the game, (albeit playing tricks), step up and be the man.

He knows Di Ziyuan by heart and she is a free-mind. He can't force her to do anything just support her. But I'm lowkey rooting he takes initiative, because all those devotion and for what? The crown prince don't even show any competence to deserve her.

I read somewhere that he was also her first betrothed. So Crown prince basically took away his fiancee. Ain't that so convenient?

one point to the plot for this. This was logical. What's not logical is they made the royal siblings such inutiles.

and upon that concern, they made the Crown Prince this dull and made the second lead so dreamy. Like Crown Prince vs Luo Mingxi. I'd be rooting for Luo Mingxi for the sake of all my drama watching experiences. Luo Mingxi was written much better.

by assessing his IQ with the recent episodes, I'd say he's not that clever to realize. He's a foolish crown prince. I'm rooting for Anle to fall for the clever and has always been by her side Luo Mingxi instead.

if I have one complaint, about this show, I'd say it would be that the Crown Prince and elder Princess are dum dum dumb characters. Why, they are the good guys, but they just had to be so dim. The writing on this part is really sloppy, Gong Jun and Xia Nan never got a chance.

how can they not realize that the real Di Ziyuan is the one calling herself Ren Anle infront of her. Even the kid actress looks like Dilreba. the fake DZY doesn't look any slightly a bit like the kid they saw in the past. Good job for the casting team about the little DZY, but the fake one or aka Di Chengen, really? seriously? that hair, those eyes? lol.

ah. cause i read on reddit about this, i thought it was halfway. turns out the director they ended up getting was the one who directed Mr. Bad and gogo Squid, which is good. The first director who abandoned them and made the investors pull back their money is now the nation's joke.
