could we just pretend that there were no other scenes after the forest fire? the show concludes after the leads' fated reunion. For the sake of all our mental health and peace of minds.
I have not seen it yet but do you think the scene with out ML disappearing into the fire just means this is his…
the only reason I could think of why they were sloppy with the ending, is they couldn't get the actors together. in the final scenes of the forest fire, i kept looking for Jiang Ge. he was nowhere to be found. all the other men were there. then the dance concert scene. JH was not available for shooting? hahahha or his contract to this project ended just before that.
I think for the scene with the dumblings. This is propably something just sometime earlier. Before everything…
what was that scene for even? they just took a picture in the past, the picture wasnt even relevant.
i just got the implication in the theatre when i saw LRY bawling his face out. he's the strongest crier of the team. and Lin Qi, playing the violin in the middle of it ,was so unnecessary. like, i get that it's his occupation. but his scenes as a bro/son/friend is giving him enough presence. The dance +solo violin performance just ruined all their acting. and don't even get me started with Nan Chu's dances. so cringe.
Anyone can explain that unwanted last 10 min clips😅😅😅😅
can't believe they make us cry sincerely with Yu and Lei's sacrifices, but Lin Luxiao only gets a walking alone in a concert hall sequence. Yeah, show I understand what you're trying to imply. but if you want me to cry, sorry to disappoint you, you only get my confused eyebrows and warped open mouth. I can only cry at how they didn't give justice to finale of Johnny Huang's character. His final scene was so stupid.
if you are still watching. major spoiler alert. you have been warned. -dont get me wrong, i like the show, it has emotional. patriotic and heroic value. But everything was ruined, by the final episode.
the ending was so unclear. like they put quite a big hole without explanation about how LLX, sacrificed his life finally because it's his oath. they could have at least put a text narrating what happened to the characters after. and how LLX finally goes off. or did he perish right in that big forest fire. just after meeting Nan Chu again. only him? alone, amongst the other comrades? and what was that scene before the final "dance" concert (the dances were so so, could'nt they have gotten better choreo from like the new year gala performances, so much for implying that NC and the dream dance folks are talented phenomenal dancers, i skip the dancing scenes here)- then that scene where the were eating with LDG, YQL, for a holiday. I thought it was in their past, so Binjiang was the name of the station. maybe that's where they were assigned before Heping, then they took a picture. What was the purpose of that. But nope, no clear explanation. I hated how they were very concise with the firefighting tips and even a product placement for a cold medicine. but couldn't even give a clear ending. the ending was not very hopeful for a drama showcasing the firefighting industry? like, ok im impressed with the camaraderie and the passion that firefighters in the country have. but in the middle of watching, i suddenly think. how f-ed up is the fire prevention in this place, depicted in this show. that they encounter such drama and trouble. not even accidents. and it's like every shit-hits-the-fan situation that could happen is put into the plot.
Censorship has not affected any of the other firefighting dramas, there is absolutely no reason for it to affect…

Yep. .YaoJing is OTP in novel..think also in drama because they kiss several times but we have admit that Xiao…
i saw him as a possessive pursuer. and didn't he basically kidnap her more than once? and there was another scene that he was choking her. if some people here don't want to hear the word toxic out of context, then let me just say that he asks her to make poison for him many times. poison is toxic. hahahaha
Depends on whom you ask. IMO her lightcore romantic scenes with Jing fades compared to the subtle passion / tension…
yeap I saw that tension with XL. but maybe because, he has this bad guy persona/aura which is very trendy and hot. wonder why most costume dramas these days are about a demon male lead. But this story is different because, she doesn't seem to have a just one guy and most definitely, she will not choose XL. Ye Shiqi's status is pitiful, i don't like that he can't go all out in pursuing the FL due to political conflicts and he has a fiancee/engagement he just can't seem to get out of. FL has already confessed and even went in for the kisses first. he needs to man up.
