I really hope that there's a 2nd season :D#manifesting
If there's a season 2 maybe. Hmm i thought they could introduce a real villain, and might connect to what happened in the fire. I bet that would be a good one. And Xiao Wudi would be all out protecting her.

What for... They ended it so well, i would prefer this good ending than a season 2 where they might struggle for material. And I think the actors will get more offers and wont be available...
I just finished this one and the finale was so sweet and fulfilling. Im gonna add this to my list of memorable and noteworthy dramas. Original plot, the writer knows what she's doing. The 2 layer writer fantasy is a fresh concept. The direction has a clear focus. The second leads are not overwhelming but noteworthy (i love the final touch with the 2 main couples). And specially Luo Ming Jie who already caught my attention in Ive fallen for you. Right.. his portrayal is quite serious here but i love his method acting. The romantic scenes are cliche yeah, but the great acting from CZY and SY really spiced things up, they have acting talent. Who doesn't love the good old romance cliche right expecially with such good looking actors/actresses and acting skills. Enemies to lovers, across the hall banter (the apartment styles were good touch) a Knight in shining armor with a twist (The "bad" guy instead of the universal good guy). A trauma from the past that essentially moves the plot. What it lacked is a villain but if you count the main lead, he's essentially the introductory villain and this is supposed to be his story ahhaha. So yeah it was good. What else, I love almost everything about it because of how they wrapped things up. I could totally see this being remaked in Korea. Another Shen Yue drama right? Like a love so beautiful which is on my list also. Good plot, great acting, solid ending.
Maybe the book is the real story, they just hid it in real life. Xiao Wudi took the name of Mao Xiao Jun because he is not from the era. And he gets a job as a history professor.
I cannot believe that kid Lv Jian is there till ep 30. Unbelievable. Usually Love rivals go away after the leads…
He's cute. He's ok. Meiren clarified it already that she doesnt like him and she likes ZY. so him, not leaving her side after that, shows that he is staying for the friendship. And he doesnt do dirty tricks btw. That would be annoying.
Only in dramas people dress in white knowing they're about to eat hot pot. LMAO
I could really find myself in that situation. There are times that you just wanna wear white to the office after seeing this tv show/a new fancy top. Then lo and behold, some workmates thought it would be nice to have some hotpot. Lol. No turning back.
I haven’t read one comment from anyone saying they care for the second couple. What a total waste of time.
The second lead couple is like a totally different story. If i removed all the scenes with her bestfriend. It doesnt affect Yu Meiren/Zhuang Yu plot at all. The little brother does a better job at supporting. Lol
They really wasting the airtime with the second leads. I call them the skip this couple. And nothing wrong with the leads, their chemistry is good. Whats wrong is the editing and the schedule. The deleted kiss scenes. Wth.
I didnt like it when they had to reset the plot because she traveled back to the past. Like somewhere out there is a future Fangleng who is still waiting for his bride.
So i was watching a National Geographic about the Great Wall of China. And it mentioned the first emperor of China. And I was "holdon, that name is familiar". So i came back to this show and realized all the characters here are based on historical figures. Except for the titular King's Woman.

能不能不要在拍女二和男二了
