She went and threatened the consort. If the consort didn’t decided to help her and called for help, him, HanYan and his whole family could’ve been executed for threatening a royal.

I saw him in Moonlight Mystique, he acted well but he’s like a pretty boy so might not fit the stoic YunXi is supposed to be. 😆
