lol I don’t get some viewers. 🤣 HanYan isn’t a red flag for no reason. Most expects the usual cdrama fl that’s either a damsel in distress, naive, or cutesy acting etc. HanYan is not like that at all. She charges forward towards her goal.

It was filmed to be 36 episodes but after review, it was passed as 30 episodes so lots have been cut. All dramas are cut down before airing to passed reviews and censorship; meanwhile, some don’t even passed so they’re not aired.

I’ve seen comments saying The Glory is better, then some saying The Double is better. 🤣 I’m one that stopped at episode 7 for The Double but finished The Glory. The Glory is dark, barely any romance, both are red flags so lots of schemes even against each other. If you don’t mind that, check it out.

love is beautiful, of course, but i prefer to treat it as just one element among many. my protagonists would never put romance at the top of their life priorities.
the pain they endure is often not born from love, but rather from the unpredictability of life, the harshness of reality, and the enigmatic nature of humanity.
their deepest desires usually aren’t about love, either. they’re more about survival, the pursuit of justice, and self-realisation.
this holds true for my current work .

To me it’s a hint he lives but will prob go earlier than his wife and family. And when he does, her family will be there so he won’t be alone; meanwhile on her side it shows when he’s gone she has his family (stepmom and sis) with her. The two will be apart but won’t be alone and will still have family.
HE. It’s worth it if you’re into heavy stuff like schemes, abuse, manipulations, tragedies etc. There’s barely any saints. Main couple can be consider grey/red flag characters. Romance isn’t the focus either so no cute, fluffy romance but there is chemistry between them even if it’s like a few seconds or minutes.
