okay so, i decided to watch this right after watching LITC. and there's a bit of regret in me because now i know…
Bai Jiu, YingLei, SiHeng and LiLun; plus lots of side characters. Then there’s also ZhuYan the ml but if you watch the special episode it’s hinted that a shred of his soul is still alive so he just gotta cultivate and he can return.
Pretty much only 3 main cast and 3 support/guest cast didn’t die while everyone else you see in the drama dies (except the extras that appears for a few second as bystanders).
I came to watch this because I was told that the bromance in this is next level and the fl is kind of third wheeling…
No bromance tag because it’s supposed to be romance since ml gave one of a kind love token to fl only. And ml actually imagined/dreamed of living just quietly at his place with just her without others and the world chaos when he was going crazy and trying to stay sane.
But lots of bromance and sismance! I’ve seen some saying it’s more bromance than WoH and Untamed.
Everyone has chemistry with everyone so you can pick any ship at the end and it’ll be fine.
The biggest two ships is ml x fl and ml x 2nd ml. If you’re into romance more, you’ll see the romance. If you’re more into bromance, you’ll see the bromance more.
Why is Peng Xiaoran credited second in the cast? she’s basically just a guest role here.
She was pretty much used for her popularity and her fans to help hyped up the drama and promote others. 🫤 China tends to do that to their actors and actresses.
