I finished ep 8 and thought that was it, nice ending with FL and ML getting together. But then there are 4 more eps coming out ?? Is it worth watching until the end, are there interesting things happening ?
Does this drama have some kind of plot twist, or is it quite predictable ? Please don't spoil, I just wish to know whether it's worth continuing watching, I'm about halfway, where ML is searching for a soul, and Song Kang just entered the drama... Thanks ^^
How am I crying at the end of a zombie horror movie ?? Like crying my eyes out with an ache in my chest ! It was so poignant, I didn't expect this at all to be such a rollercoaster of chaos and sides of humanity and emotions. I am impressed.
I finished the drama two weeks ago, and I'm not really warming up to Chi Cheng. I mean, in the first episode,…
Exactly ! I feel uneasy with Chi Cheng's promiscuous/violent past and the 'if you don't sleep with me, I'll rape your friend' and more like this. Now I am on ep 12 and they had their first night, and Suo Wei is hurting so bad he can't even sit, and apparently they find that normal ? Is that normal ?? He isn't at all happy it happened and two days later Chi Cheng forces him (while he was still hurting ??). Suo Wei does love him / is attracted to him but doesn't want to be bottom, ddoes it have to be this way ?
Or should nothing be seen this serious, is it humour from Chinese BL (that I am not used to) ? I am hesitant to watch further ... !! Any advice please ?
Just finished bingewatching over a couple of days... It started out so beautiful and nice with all the princes together and little by little I was feeling more and more sad. FL was crying in the 1st episode about her boyfriend cheating on her, well, after her life in Goryeo, that was just nothing. To me this series depicts life with hardships, tragedy, unfairness, misunderstandings, wounds and scars that shape people and their actions. And it is also about the will to live, to love. I'll be thinking for a while about this one. And plan on rewatching Flower of Evil for ML ;-) and to change the mood a bit. My heart feels heavy ! Let me imagine that when at the end he says that he will find her even in another world, they meet again ...
I am dropping this one after episode 3, probably because too much details and some actions are not logical to me... I don't want to watch the whole remaining hours but I am still curious :-P Could you please spoil ?? Give the headlines of the story ? ^^
Also, can somebody explain to me the meaning of cat eyes that the shop owner and two other characters had?
As I understand, these are the ones that are 'appointed' / have a specific 'job' to do in regard to the dead and in-between people. The eyes seem to give them a certain authority, when needed they take off the glasses and can control the ghosts.
Hi all ^^ I'm midway in the series and I have a question ; while Lee Seong Gyu is in prison with Park Jeong U, where is the daughter ? Isn't she supposed to be with Seong Gyu all along since the murder night ?
With all these -really- negative comments, I never would have thought that I would actually like this drama !
The feeling I was left with at the end (I see the two seasons as one) is that there is a love that is more of a passion/attraction ('falling in love') and that there is a love that evolves over time. For Jojo and Hye Yeoung it grew. It seems to me that the love alarm only rang the 'falling in love' as in my view, Sun Oh for example clearly loves Yuk Jo in a way that is not detected by the app.
Everything around the complexity of traumas, communication issues, not knowing what exactly one feels or whether to trust oneself (and instead trusting technoligy) I also found interesting to reflect on.
And yes it's got a lot of flaws, and no it's not a master psychological piece ;-) but I just took out what was in it for me. Luckily I was in the mood for slow-paced so that was really nice ^^
