This drama was so good that we all became too greedy. At the end of the day it's still a xianxia, so there has to be some of the dramatic plots here too. That's explain the ending. Plus most of the time in other dramas of this genre we have to see 50+ episodes of angst and then get at best just a wedding and kid thrown in the mix in the finale to make us happy. I don't actually like that. I am someone who enjoys the process more than the end result. So I definitely prefer this drama how good they were in sprinkling the sugar through it's course. Plus it was only 36 episodes. So good.

I have been watching xianxia dramas since 2018. At this point if any drama has long final scene then I will be surprised.

I think because they already gave two kissing scenes, they didn't brother showing more in the end. Plus we kind of get an idea about how their married life would be through Dongfang Qingcang dream.

This drama does have many symbolism. If we don't focus then we can be confused about a few things.
