Am I the only one who thought it was a lil boring?
I found the last 2-3 episodes fairly boring because we already knew all secrets, and the bad guys weren't interested in Ro-hee and/or Myung-joon anymore but were busy with themselves. I also couldn't care less about Hye-eun because her character wasn't complex or interesting enough. The relationship between Ro-hee and Myung-joon also didn't develop further at some point. We didn't learn anything new about Myung-joon even though it was implied that he seemed to have been quite intelligent as a child.
Nevertheless, I found that it was a good watch. Especially, Yoon Kye-sang and Yuna did a great job making their characters feel like actual people who care about each other.
I didn't understand the last scene. Can anyone explain?
Apparently, the genius project is successful, and the girl seems to have been cloned. Or maybe Ro-hee has a twin sister. It's not quite clear what the last scene means.
Its the bitter PMR fans, Unfortunately they're mad this drama has done better both Domestically and Internationally.…
Ah, that makes sense. I wished they had made this clearer in the drama that Hee-yeon helped her develop a style. Since Park Min-yeon looks cute and sexy in everything, it was difficult for me to tell when she was supposed to look "ugly". In real life, people don't suddenly change their character/behaviour based on what they are wearing for the first time. It takes some time to grow into a role.
Regarding the HS reunion, I felt the same. She was bullied by those women, and those women tried it again. However, FL acted so self-confident and was even able to make them turn against her best friend within a few seconds. Why would those bullies even believe her in the first place? It's not like bullies are fighters for justice.
Regarding the contacts, imagine being a wallflower and a pushover. Would you go to your boss and tell him that he looks sexier without glasses? I feel that's rather inappropriate, especially in a strict hierarchical society. She wasn't friends him him.
I liked the part where she realised that people treat her differently based on how she presents herself. This made sense in the story (and in real life), and it explains why FL puts effort into her look to be respected by other people.

PMR was makjang, so exaggeratedness is actually expected. The FL got really angry and just wanted to destroy things before realising that her life doesn't end as expected. While most things were "over the top", I found her more believable because, in real life, angry people tend to do crazy stuff. She didn't immediately fall in love with the rich, handsome man. She tried to use him for her revenge.
MMH is more "realistic" in regards to the revenge but the former wallflower became a fashion expert out of the blue, even told her boss that he should get rid of his glasses and wear contacts. Where/when did she grow in confidence?
PMR and MMH are similar, yet very different dramas. I enjoy both but for different reasons.
Maybe you can try 'my happy ending', it also aired on saturay-sunday but 10 episodes were already out so you can…
Yes, these two dramas are similar but not the same. PMR had a visibly lower budget but, to be honest, I enjoyed PMR a bit more than this drama here because PMR had more makjang and craziness going on. Almost nobody likes FL in the beginning. She starts as an annoying pushover who gets her second chance. The focus was less on romance and more on the revenge part. The revenge ending was so hilarious and satisfying.
Only in the time travel department. Other than that at least IMO, PMR had consistent characters who were likeable…
I think they wanted to have a cool looking scene without putting too much effort into it. For most people, it's probably good enough because they don't know "how it works" anyway.
No, she's obviously a married black woman. Or what do you mean?
Ah, thanks for the information. I watched that movie many years ago but I didn't know that its original title is "Single White Female". In my language, the title is "Female, single, young, looking for..." (obviously translated).
Nowadays, race gets mentioned everywhere on the internet, so I thought you tried to imply something else. I misunderstood you.

Actually, it is possible to flip over a man twice her size if she is a trained judoka (or something similar) and if the man is not. The key is to make him lose his balance. You don't need that much strength for that. However, the way FL flips her ex over is absolutely not how it works. You would have to be extraordinarily strong to do it this way. Even as a man it would be very unlikely that you would be able to do it this way unless the other man helps you. I really wished they would show something more realistic in dramas and movies. It's just ridiculous for everybody who knows judo (and similar forms of sport).
On ep 10 and DROPPED.I understand her bf is a huge asshole, but the way hes getting all the blame and her so called…
I agree with your points regarding the FL. There is no character development at all, which is sad. However, I like this drama anyway because I find Soo-min interesting. She's crazy and unpredictable. I'm curious how she'll end up. Min-hwan is a narcisst idiot. Since he used to hit FL in her previous life, I'm wondering if he tries to kill her at some point. As long as those two are entertaining me, I don't need any likeable characters.
You know, I just gotta say this. To those who keeps bringing up Perfect Marriage Revenge as a comparison, first…
Did I miss anything or are you the only one crying here? From what I read, people mentioned "Perfect Marriage Revenge" because other people might enjoy a similar drama. Personally, I enjoyed PMR a lot, and I was looking for a similar drama. That's basically the only reason I'm watching "Marry My Husband": because people who enjoyed PMR mentioned MMH. I'm enjoying both dramas.
PMR is visibly low budget. Calling it a flop compared to another drama which has a famous lead actress (Park Min-yeong) in it makes me wonder if you have more knowledge than everybody else. The production of MMH certainly cost way more money than PMR, so MMH needs much more viewers (who generate money) than PMR. Some numbers on the internet don't tell you anything about something being a flop or not unless you know the details. Those details get sold for a lot of money and certainly won't get shared for free.
You call this healing?? Ji-won could have simply used her foreknowledge to get rich in the stock market and instead…
No, you're not serious. Min-hwan's abusive side apart, he's just bad with money. He used his and other people's money to gamble in the stockmarket. He lost that money, which was repeated multiple times in the drama. Giving him more won't help Ji-won in any way because the money would be gone within a couple of days. Then Min-hwan would need even more money. His behaviour would probably get even worse because he would have learnt that Ji-won is rich. In her past life, she wasn't.
Everything but the ears. If you love him you'll love his ears too. He's human after all.
I have the same problem. I love sageuk but they are also the "worst" for me because all men have the same hairstyle, fake beard and clothes. I'm glad that newer dramas seem to use a variety of face shapes for the important characters. That makes it easier to follow the story.
In Death's Game, I found one of the actor's eyes so beautiful, and I had the vague feeling that I had seen those eyes in another drama. I eventually recognised Jang Seung-jo thanks to his ears.
good, don’t watch it. this masterpiece doesn’t deserve to be watched by an insecure man child.
Yes, it's your choice, and not liking the K-pop style is totally fine. I don't like to see anorexic guys either. I also don't like gay gay, which is the reason why I avoid Thai and Chinese dramas. I do like bromance, though, and sometimes also boys love but the guys have to look normal for me. I find people whose political opinion and whose bedroom adventures are not visible on the outside more relatable. The same goes for the look-I-am-so-straight men, too. I just don't like them. If I wanted to see overly sexual stuff, I would watch porn. However, I don't spam my personal taste under dramas I will not watch anyway. For me, discussing a drama is fun only if the other person watched that drama, too. I'm not interested in the actors's personal lives.
Maybe consider doing the same and be more constructive, so other people, especially like-minded people, will benefit from your comments. Help other people find enjoyable dramas, so other people will feel inspired by you and help you find dramas you might enjoy. Everything else is just a waste of your precious time.

(Unlike you, I haven't read the webtoon, so I don't know what exactly is going to happen.)

Of course, those scenes were rare, so Mask is not exactly a romcom but there definitely is some comedy in that drama.
