Don't forget to rate this drama if you like it . It will help the cast to become better and get better roles and…
I doubt that the rating on MDL will affect the careers of the actors and writers. Watching the drama on legal platforms will help because those are the places that generate money for them.
I'm impressed how well Cha Eun Woo delivered us such a beautiful kiss scene đ and about this episode, I just…
I agree. In his other dramas I watched, he was like a kindergarden boy pressing his lips on the FL's lips, and those scenes were rather ... underwhelming. I was reeeeally surprised that he put so much effort into this scene. For the first time, I forgot the actor and saw the character desiring the FL. I hope he'll keep working on his acting because it would be great to see him BEING a character instead of just being Cha Eun-woo looking good on screen.
Canât stop thinking about the epilogue kiss in episode 8đ»âš just wish the lead girl wasnât stiff during…
Huh? I thought FL's acting was appropriate. I mean, up til this episode, the ML had been rather shy and distant, and suddenly he was not only proactive but kissed "like a real man". FL (the character) was certainly surprised by his ... steamy desires.
I didn't mean that going after the FL would be more interesting but more realistic. Imagine you were a streamer and wanted/needed to earn money, and you heard some absurd story about someone who turns into a dog at midnight. And you could be the first one showing that to the world. You'd instantly become famous and could sell licenses for a looot of money. Would you focus on some teachers nobody on the internet is interested in?
That's why I lost interest in that character. He's unrealistic in the most uncreative way ever. He doesn't add anything to the story. It would have been interesting if he had been a real danger to FL and her family but he was, like you wrote, just an insecure loser.
Regarding biology, you are right. There are exceptions. They are rare but they exist.
As a female who did judo and jiu jitsu for several years, I can assure you that there was a time when I was the one who won all battles against the males who were my age. And suddenly, around the age of 11/12, my fellow male judokas not only were taller but also waaaay stronger than I. They knew the same "moves" as I.
Nevertheless, I was still able to "fight" against unexperienced males and win because those were "fights for fun" that didn't have the goal to hurt anybody. There were rules.
Many people do not know that the real life is unfair, which is the reason why every intelligent "martial artist" knows that the moves he learnt in the gym are not the same moves as "in the street". That's why the intelligent people flee if they see a knife in the opponent's hand and don't have a pistol to shoot the opponent. The knife usually wins at short distances.
The FL in this drama is slim. She does not have any muscles to win a fight against that guy. She would have needed a weapon. As a cute dog, he could have kicked her away. That's what I would have done if some little dog attacked me.
FL as a dog biting the bully would have been fun for some people but her being a cute little dog defeating the bully would not have been realistic, not even within this story.
Well, yeah, his character was fairly underwhelming. I felt this way because his only motivation seemed to be some guy he had bullied several years ago. Not that a human turned into a dog. No, no, the rather boring teacher guy was way more interesting to him.
However, I doubt that FL would have been able to beat him. Most Korean men around that age serve(d) in the army where they get quite a few muscles. Biological women are usually much weaker than the average biological man. That's a fact even though some people claim otherwise for the sake of their respective ideology.
Why should she have surgery just for you to like her smile?
No, you didn't just write that you found her gums distracting. You gave irresponsible and unsolicited medical advice. As a dentist.
Let me quote you, so I don't need to translate things my own way: - "she needs to have a gingivectomy, her gums dont look that healthy" - "its just cause I am a dentist"
Those sentences are fairly simple and don't leave much room for interpretation, so I doubt that I misunderstood something.
Is the rest of this drama as baaaad as episode 1 is? Im actually shocked this has 8,6 of ratingsđ Whatâs…
I didn't enjoy episode 1 much either because the "nice FL" was sooooo annoying. I don't really know why I continued with episode 2 but I'm really glad I did. I binge watched 6 episodes. The only thing I regret is that I discovered this drama too early. Now I have to wait for new episodes instead of being able to binge watch the entire drama. :(
Most of us seem to be surprised by how good this drama is. :)
I cannot really point the finger to the reason but I think one reason is that we finally get to see a healthy relationship between two grown-ups who behave like grown-ups instead of "chaste virgins". They care about each other, communicate with each other, and don't exaggerate things like in a typical romance drama to show their love. ML and FL also have their own lives and hobbies and don't revolve around each other 24/7. (Obviously, I'm really invested in this couple. XD)
Why should she have surgery just for you to like her smile?
So, you want to give somebody with unhealthy gums a gingivectomy instead of helping them get healthy gums? Or did you mean to say that you want to force a gingivectomy on healthy gums? Both sounds like potential malpractice to me.
PYJ is obviously very comfortable smiling in front of a camera. A dentist trying to make her feel bad about her healthy teeth and gums is shady and irresponsible.
Why should she have surgery just for you to like her smile?
I'm suspicious of dentists who cannot tell healthy gums apart from gingivitis. And even worse: who claim somebody who had "not that healthy looking" gums could be healed with a gingivectomy.
I thought when they turn from dog to human they are unclothed but Hae Na wasnât? Ik this is strange to point…
Yeah, I was pretty disappointed that she wasn't naked. I mean she was naked when she changed back in his nephew's room. The director could have come up with a better solution to not have to show her naked.
What do you mean by angsty? Since everybody feels different, nobody will be able to tell you whether you will…
Well, if you are looking for unapologethic craziness, desperation, obsession, sadness, tears, death, life, love, hate, and plot twists, this drama might become your next guilty pleasure. There are quite a few wtf moments. The FL keeping the secret no matter what happens can be quite frustrating but I found it very intriguing to see how ML deperately wants to reveal the truth behind the fatal accident. Oh, and there are also scenes that will make you want to jump right into the drama to personally slap a few characters.
The synopsis tells you basically everything you need to know about the story. And if you find it interesting, watch the drama. If you don't enjoy it, you can always drop it. :)
(I watched it twice, btw. And I'm thinking about watching it again in a couple of weeks/months. I don't care that this drama is not perfect. It's my guilty pleasure.)
So... does this drama give the same angsty & very melodramatic vibes that, for example, a drama like The Innocent…
What do you mean by angsty? Since everybody feels different, nobody will be able to tell you whether you will feel the same when watching this drama like you did with [insert some other drama].
I didn't expect much because of the rather bad rating but people here claimed this drama was full of suspense, so I gave it a try. I'm glad I did because this was indeed a solid, short crime drama. Until the last episode, I had been curious how this drama would end. The actors, too, did a great job.
In my humble opinion itâs just a way for PMY to justify her drastic weight loss of late. Like you said her hair…
That's what I think as well. PMY was extremely thin in "Love in Contract". She almost looked like a skeleton in scenes where you could see more than her face. She had been rather thin in her previous dramas as well but, at least, she had looked somewhat healthy.
Now she "needs" to lose even more weight for a few scenes to resemble some rather badly drawn manwha character? (Nothing against manwhas but they are rarely anatomically correct.) And then she's suppose to gain weight for the remaining episodes? This sounds like an excuse/justification because, with a bit of make-up, she could have looked unhealthy without having to lose even more weight. CGI could have done the rest.
I would not be surprised if people are just enabling anorexia because she's a famous and good-looking actress who knows good plastic surgeons who are able to add some fillers to make her face look healthier.
Let's hope this "news" is just marketing to gain attention for PMY's upcoming drama.
