A super cute show as a lot of people said. Almost no drama and nobody is the bad guy.
You just basically enjoy watching two people falling in love.

Highly recommended to people looking for relaxing shows with some comedy.

He is just a capitad D dork and it's lovely :D, same with the male lead in 'Touch your hearth'

I think you are right. Although all the hallmarks were there it just didn't click for me.

Though I think also the way they timed it might have something to do with it.

Though we have to decide which trope to include as i'm convinced korean law demands at least one trope in a drama. I vote for amnesia for an episode, so we can get the cute as fuck scenes where the ML/FL falls in love with the lead all over again.

Was re watching parts of the drama and it hit me like a rock. Oska from this drama is the stupid mustache guy from Shoping King Louis! :D

His loud voice is so unique I don't know why I didn't recognize him before.

All I can say is I love the drama and I re-watch parts of it on occasion, especially the last two episodes.

ML is a jackass at the start but turns around later. Which is a standard trope I think.

I personally love the leads and their chemistry. I guess you didn't feel it hence why you didn't like the drama. I watched it long ago so I don't remember what I thought of the first few episodes so I can't say if you'll like it if you continue.

But hey, lot's of dramas out there.

I just pretend that didn't happen. From my point of view everything ended after they cough the dude and En Shi Kyung married the princess after a lot of fluffy scenes.

Yeah i got that impression too. She looked cute with the freckles. And they looked natural. And I loved that their daughter got them too hehehehe

Even though the main couple is cute and has many fluffy moments both of them became annoying to me in the second half with the constant refusal to admit the obvious and the wishy washy approach to each other.

And it was pointless what they were doing. Ooooh let's like stay together and behave like a couple but just not admit that we like each other and it will be fiiineeee. .... wut?

I enjoyed Qi Rui Feng and Xiang Yang Yang way more with their antics.

By the end I was skipping large portions of the episodes to avoid the pointless lukewarm drama.

Enjoyed the drama till about half way through (episode 18 or so) the other half dragged way to much for me with lukewarm drama that went nowhere.

Yep. And at the same time is man enough to at the end not be petty and make sure they got #1 in terms of sales.

And btw that plot point makes no sense what so ever. The higher ups in the magazine were some cartoon level villains in terms of demands :D.

Although we all know Ji Seong Jun would work as a street cleaner if it meant he was close to Kim Hye Jin eheheh.

BTW, does the actress playing Kim Hye Jin really have the feckles irl I can't really tell?

Well here I'm conflicted :D, at one hand he's awesome and you could say 'dude, do your best and see where the chips fall', but on the other hand he already did way before this point and saw the chips but still carried on.

I don't know :D. I think if I was his friend I would certainly at first say to him to let it go. If he explained to me that he just had to try even though he knows how it will go I would still protest but would't stop him.

I too love the dude, but at that time I felt sorry for him. Even after the bike scene I didn't root for him but wished he would finally give up.

And the sad part is even he knew, I think, it was futile.

To be fair you and me have the same chances with the FL as he does hahahahhahahahahahhahahaha

I don't think there was ever a single moment where he was even on the list of people eligible to enter the race to her hearth. Let alone try and win the race.
(Oh and on that list #1 place and winner by default from way back since they were kids is the ML, rest of the list is her random screams, saying weird stuff when the green for pedestrians is on and how she misses the ML)

I kinda feel it would be out of place to have a steamy kiss scene in the middle of all that fluff that the show is :D

If it's any consolation it lasts only two episodes and then it returns to the normal fluff and cheese :D. I was in the same place as you.

I agree. It was like the antagonist was there for a total of 5 min screen time and about 3 minutes being mentioned otherwise and that's it. And to be honest I would have been fine with it had there not been the completely unnecessary two episodes with them separated.

I would have much preferred if instead of the stupid separation they expanded on the villain a bit add in some detective work from the ML and the support cast, pull some strings ect. Maybe even have FL kidnapped for a bit and then an epic showdown while she's rescued and then we have the rest of the show only for cheese and fluff.

Personally exactly how I like them, overcheesy and overcringy and overfluffy :D

I love light and fluffy dramas and I think this one was aiming for that. But several plot points (that last way too long) just killed it for me. Without them this would be a decent watch but as it stands it's not very good IMO.

To be honest I think I'm the exact target audience for this drama. I love light and fluffy dramas with a simple plot. The slice of life dramas.

But, even so this one just wasn't good. The needles misunderstanding about the child their subsequent needles separation (I mean why? He was head over heels for her long before he even knew there was a child at all, let alone his, and they were dating already. And then they separated because he was willing to raise a child with her? ... really? That's the reason? The fuck?) and the idiotic noble sacrifice she did at the last firckin episode just killed it for me. Without it I think this would have been a decent drama, but with it it's just not good.

Not to mention IMO FL's mom is one of the worst characters I've ever seen. I hate ML's mom in the 'Secret Garden' drama, but I'd rather she was in this one than what we got.
