I feel he's protective, like a friend would be, especially for someone you love (even if its not romantic love or reciprocated, its been established that they are friends), you'd still worry if they were dating an ex convict!

After today's episode tho, looks like she's going to stay n possibly be the 3rd couple... The 3rd ML actor actually did it right...for the first time i felt for her... Also id rather she go be happy than shit on our FL!!!

True! But most of us don't/cant or won't have read the novel... And i find 100+ episodes daunting too, especially in case there's a bad/weird/illogical ending....

The Double ... I love how smart the FL is, and the acting by everyone is fantastic as is the storyline.. and the ML & his fan have their own fan-following now. lol.

I am so happy for you :) This is my current obsession too! I love the storytelling and all the elements.
Also, if you liked this one, you may also like Blossoms in Adversity (2024) - Zhang Jing Yi and again the whole thing is done very well, especially the first scene (its a young girl on a boat in the storm)... this series is on my favorite + re-watch list too,

The Double (i don't know id you'd call her badass coz so far no fighting scenes of hers, but the ML & his sidekicks are doing a good job, but she's smart, and the whole damn drama is really good - up there with the best for me)
