girl what has hsh done to you 😠jk but who knows you might start liking her after watching this one. i absolutely…
I guess if i hear good things I'll check it out 😊 I've just learnt that there are a trillion shows & its okay to drop, not watch just because everyone else is... & Go with whatever i enjoy .. with hsh she's never seemed authentic in the clips I've seen and maybe the storylines of her shows don't appeal to me...
I like what I've seen of JJS, cant stand HSH since the beginning... the story sounds interesting but not sure if i can suffer through watching HSH... I guess I'll have to skip this one.
Update: I have seen only 1 show of JJS and she is okay-ish. I'm not impressed enough to watch her other shows.
2 episodes in, i am hooked and invested. going to make sure I finish my work this week on time, so i can watch the next episode as soon as it releases!! 2 episodes a week are TOO less! anyone listening?
Binge watched the 1st 10 episodes!! Really well done. And the fight scenes are excellent! & That opening ship scene...wooh!! The characters are so well fleshed out .. no discrepancies even with the smallest role! Great quality drama so far!
nahh you can't kiss each other before knowing what the other know ! that's cheating... she was so pretty in her…
I loved the gangsta filming scenes!! and that confession was meh! as was the crying and kissing. your point is super valid - we know that they know, but they dont, and so now this is just wrong.... well, i guess until they fix it.
PS: I loved the FL's action scenes on the train + fight on the set where she is an extra - so beautifully done! replay worthy!!!
Now, for my rant!
I don't understand or see the development of their feelings - that confession scene - like, 1. where is this deep bond/emotion coming from? He seems to be more obsessed than in-love with her, if they showed the evolution I've missed it - can someone tell me where this happened?
2. also the 1st time i am, frankly, disappointed in their acting - neither looked in-love, in-pain or conflicted.
Also, can someone tell me the point of Ms. Yoon's character - I'm just skipping her scenes now - she has nothing to do, and considering the set up was that she is a strong business woman - it would have been so much more fun to see her in action at work/business than what they are showing - I detest this representation of smart women becoming 'pathetic' - even in 2 sided situation-ships, here there is none but her cotton-candy thoughts. She also seems like a good actress, I wish she'd had a stronger/ better role. Which parent tells their child to go be 'pathetic'? poor writing this.
sweet and warm show. good acting by everyone. loved the interactions between, actually, all of them - the relationships were shown quite well. usually the 2nd half dips, but this one, from ep 18 on just pulled you right back in.
2 episodes in and I love this show! All the actors are new to me, but they are so relatable - that's good acting and writing coming together & all that other magic that goes into making a good show! Whoever wrote the dialogues is GOOD! I was laughing out loud, smiling at all the banter and chaos, and the camaraderie and chemistry between all the characters at this point.
I also love how the FL has learnt 349602 things, 'just in case'! - that is me, signing up for every course and downloading every book! just in case i may need them someday!
I expected the grandfather to be the villain, but after the Taxi ride episode, I am not so sure.
This is already on my rewatch list - when i want to laugh, or just feel good as another woman who is not perfect, speaks her mind & is still miles away from the life she's been working towards. We need normal people in our stories.
My problem with it is that they have been best friends for 15 years but as soon as she agreed to marry him to…
agree! also, as someone who is becoming more introverted post c19, i can tell you, i dont want to meet and talk to any of my friends all the time or often - especially if i am in the middle of a great episode, i am not picking that call..............i will call or text back later, i am nice like that! lol!
If you don't like her voice, then it's best to drop it, just don't rate the drama down if you didn't completely…
I have not rated it, like I mentioned, I have dropped it. Also, if the show is a poor experience for me, it is my prerogative to rate it or not. People should know if a program is poor in some area - and then make their choice. And VOICE is such a big part of that experience. I really don't understand why the director/producer underplay a talent like Esther ... she has a good voice and a good range of expressions...
I sadly have had to drop s&f6 coz esther's baby voice... it just grated too much!! Considering i like xu kai and wan peng, even esther in her shows where she uses her normal voice, I'd really wanted to watch this... But 5 episodes in, and between her voice and expressions, i sadly cant watch any more. So disappointed.
