I'm amazed at how this drama covers so many things and quite well as well. The long effects of childhood trauma,…
This drama is so upsetting because of how realistic it portrays all of this. And I think it has a lot of grace towards "imperfect victims", which I really appreciate.
Said he only wanted to call/tell YL when he got the phone call about his father's death, but he actually asked…
The way the show handles emotional manipulators is really well done, as it's so realistic. He seems so compassionate and understanding on paper; it's easy in the moment to look past the controlling and emotionally manipulative actions (visible to FL, we know the really terrible stuff he's done).
Ahhh and i really feel for our FL.. Although i dont care for the mother too much , it really stinks for the FL…
I was happy for the FL's own peace of mind, but I definitely didn't forgive her mom for the physical and emotional abuse. The fact that the FL really thinks there's something to forgive makes me so sad for her. The senior guy is really the only decent person in her life; I'm glad they've managed to maintain a decent relationship and co-parent.
There's no return for Luo but it is interesting to see the making of this monster. As much as he dislikes his…
I agree, but I think there's still more to the story. We saw a flashback of teen!ML with his sister (haircutting, her riding away on the bike, and him breaking down), but he claims she left when he was 10 and never came back. I think the false accusation/jail, and whatever went down with the sister set him on a path of despising women and wanting to break them and bring them down, so they never have the power to hurt him.
I definitely thought he was lying until we saw the flashback in the end. Doesn't excuse anything he later did, of course.
Guys, I don't think I've ever watched anything so raw and emotional. Mature romance hits differently, but now…
I agree about the drama being raw and emotional. It's been a while since I felt viscerally repulsed while watching something. I don't think the main issue is her rushing into a relationship; I think the main issue is that ML needs to be in jail and far away from her. She's going to need so much therapy when this is all over.
I'm loving the performance here from Chris, the intense looks at sunli when she's at her low as if he's studying…
His acting is so impressive. That look when she's at her lowest, like he's studying her/committing the moment to memory and also savoring it a bit? Chills.
I think she helped that woman with her divorce because she felt immense guilt towards her bestie, as she didn't…
I agree, I think she's dealing with a lot of guilt over both not realizing her friend was distressed for so long and also not answering the last phone call, both leading to her death. So she can't help trying to save other women in desperate situations.
we knew, but now it's official - Luo Liang is a creep, stalker and psychopath 😂R.I.P hamster, even if he is…
That hamster thing was insane. I kept wondering if I imagined it or not.
IMO, the show does a good job with Luo Liang's manipulative and controlling behavior. I think, as an outsider audience, it's easy to clock his manipulative behavior, especially when we saw the hamster bite and the social media stalking. But his manipulative behavior feels subtle enough that you might overlook it in the moment, because of how compassionate and supportive he seems.
This dude definitely has issues, and I assume they'll be exploring it more and showing who the woman in the flashback is.
The crown Prince from the North seems to be Duan Ziang's brother. He could be Hua Yi they are looking for
I don’t think so, because I think he was raised openly as the crown prince. Given that Duan Ziang was adopted by general Duan, it’s possible Hua Yi is the Duan biological son. Where he is now is the big question.
OK, so I’m not sure this is a plot hole or someone sees something that I don’t but how does she know that…
It’s a good question. But he pretty much did what he did last time: go to enemy headquarters and kill the general, lol. So that’s easy to predict. Maybe she figured there was a chance he’d be overwhelmed by their numbers and captured, so she prepared a plan B in advance.
I think he is Bai jiu's master the one appears in EP 11.. that what I'm noticing "Qing Geng gave the pill to the…
I think you're right. He conveniently heard about this plague that spread so fast that word hadn't gotten out yet. Plus, he told Zhou to take care of Bai Jiu, and then Bai Jiu got kidnapped as bait.
So if the Baize goddess always have a partner…was Wan’er’s partner….LiLun??
I'm not sure there was always a partner. I think the original Baize goddess took both pieces into herself and Wan'er had both. Then with ZYZ and WX it split again.
Remember when the cops says that young HaeS may not have told the truth about what happen (when his mom died)…
I definitely think HaeS was the one possessed. There's a lot that's fishy about what happened, his father dying, him being sick, whatever the mom was trying to do, him being found in the woods (the wall said "when their symptoms worsen they wander in the woods"), the person who was fleeing the scene, the connection between his mom and San Young's father, whatever the grandmother knows.
i think its the other ghost that killer blogger - greedy one.. and that ghost is in FL"s friends's bodybecause…
The credit card the ghost used belongs to Yeom Hae Sang (not sure how she got her hands on it), he got a notification on his phone from the bank/credit card for a large bill.
Pretty sure the other user is correct and the blogger was attacked/killed by a hungry ghost like Hae Sang's friend (the flies were buzzing when his eyes turned red and in the bathroom, it's probably a sign of the hungry ghost's presence) that's possessing FL's friend.
And they still have not explained how ML got rid himself of the ghost when he was a child. And how the same ghost…
I'm sure there will, there's a lot suspect about what happened in 1995- the dad died (ghost? unrelated?), ML got sick, mother took him east, trying to escape a ghost, buried whatever that was, had the hair accessory in the car and freaked out when he touched it, he heard the knocking and opened the door, mother managed to singe the hair accessory before dying, he's found in the woods. One of the things on the research wall mentioned that when symptoms get bad victims are found wandering the woods, I wonder if that's connected. We didn't see a double when he opened the door, just the shadow of the ghost, so if one of them was possessed we don't know which one. Could he always see ghosts and that's why he was targeted or did he start to see ghosts after this experience? Lots of unanswered questions about what happened back then even before wondering how FL's dad got the hair accessory.
I'd only touch season 1 again for Lee Rang scenes.
I think my favorite was literally hundreds of people dying (suicide or the plague) but everyone has time and is in the mood for coffee dates and lunch in a restaurant.
I definitely thought he was lying until we saw the flashback in the end. Doesn't excuse anything he later did, of course.
