I have the same feeling as yours and have to wait until the next episode is released. It is because of the release schedule that it looks cruel. Otherwise, when all the episodes are considered in succession then it doesn't feel that bad. Now, I understand why some people begin watching after all the episodes are released.

I don't understand the ratings. Some poorly written and poorly executed drama get high ratings and a drama such as this one which is acted well ,written well and has so many positive aspects to it has such low ratings. It seems more than just a few individuals disliking it.

Yes, it is a total waste of time. The depiction of the female lead in the plot is so much annoying and illogical. She is supposed to be wise, kind and capable but how illogical are her decisions and reactions with regard to the male lead. There is also serious problem with the character of Meng Zhen Zhen. Does she really believe killing her cousin in prison brings happiness in heaven to her brother (who by the way did all the wrong counterfeit money and crimes to cover it).
