A bit cliché, but on the other hand, it's so adorable that you could even watch it twice, at least the first 2 episodes. The couple themselves are remarkably well-matched, which is a bit unexpected because in the first episode you don't really notice it, but by the second episode, it's very clear that their compatibility is perfect. She's an average-looking girl, small and unremarkable in any way. She's conservative and even has an apparently reserved demeanor that isn't initially attractive. In contrast, he's very impressive—eloquent, tall, and handsome. Still, it works because they have great chemistry, and both their performances are excellent.
This is one of the best Japanese series to date, but there are certainly other series on the same level, like…
Everyone has the right to connect with what they love, and it’s your right to think this is a good series. I was simply addressing the matter from a professional perspective. It’s no coincidence that all Western art is influenced by Japanese art—they are simply leaders in this field, and their education system is at a very high level. Therefore, it’s not possible to compare Thailand, which has a minimal connection to art, to Japan. Thailand may occasionally produce a decent series, and I assume this one is decent. Personally, I didn’t connect with it, but of course, I don’t dismiss the series because, overall, it was decent , at least at the beginning, and it appeals to a very specific audience. That said, I’m speaking broadly when discussing a wider range of works, and it’s impossible to compare Japan to other countries because they are in a different league due to their significant investment in the arts (filming, and so on)
This was the best JBL to date for me. And I mean of all time. It was heartbreaking and achingly beautiful. The…
This is one of the best Japanese series to date, but there are certainly other series on the same level, like My Old-Fashioned Cupcake. The Japanese films are simply amazing. I don’t see how it’s even possible to compare it to Thai series you mentioned;
10/10 This series made me feel like I was sharing the world of the main characters; they truly touched my heart. It’s perfect, right up to the last moment, I feel genuinely sad it’s already over..

The Korean industry is flawed, while the Japanese have a variety and a spectrum of series ranging from silly, meaningless shows to ones with depth. Even most of the silly series have touches of depth, emotion, and artistry. So yes, as someone who has watched Korean dramas for many years and follows them closely, it’s clear that there are exceptions sometimes, They used to be more connected to themselves, but today everything is trash.
If there’s an entire episode where almost nothing happens, yet you’re captivated and glued to the screen, it’s safe to say the show is a piece of art. Every episode amazes me anew.
Why is S/he woke or delusional? Because he can’t distinguish between reality and imagination, and he doesn’t allow others to enjoy creations, cinema, and fantasies. Of course, fantasy must not deviate from the norm—what you’d call the thought police. You’re not allowed to fantasize about anything deemed inappropriate. Unfortunately, the situation will worsen over time because no one really has the backbone to understand what’s true and what’s not. They also lack any leadership axis that conveys truth and reality, which can often be very harsh. It’s frightening, but in my personal opinion, this situation cannot be changed at the moment unless some extreme and undeniable event occurs—and even then, it’s not certain they’d change.
It seems to be a phenomenon of fascist wokeness that refuses to accept a different opinion. It's not worth your effort or time; this is the current generation, living in a bubble where they believe they are the center of the universe .
They completely ruined the show for what made the Kdrama version good. They kept some of the same elements but…
It's very hard for me to believe (based on the K trailer) that the Korean series could match this. The Koreans have long lost their sense of values, but the Japanese always stay true to themselves and their artistry, and it’s very evident in this series. The opening is remarkable, and the whole vibe feels very artistic. The trope you mentioned is definitely annoying and essentially ruined everything, but my guess is that the series is still much more successful in this version. I'll try to watch the Korean version and endure it a bit, but it's hard for me to believe there’s anything authentic there.
From the trailer it seems there is no connection between this drama and the Japanese version. There is no connection at all. It looks like Koreans have lost the ability to understand what art means, but the Japanese will never be able to lose this principle. They always work according to their values and don't sell them for money.
