Only 8 episodes are out on Amazon Prime, where is episode 9?
I do that too when I download stuff that I can't get from the streaming services I have. The only downside that despite my laptop being a few years old, the fan is kinda loud.

The only unfortunate thing is that I accidentally got spoiled on what happens to the FL in the end. Not sure to wait until I forget or just push through and watch it.

Just recently finished Melancholia on Netflix, it's a melodrama (I guess, I don't often watch dramas that are this genre and I noticed a few dramas are labelled as Melodramas over here on MDL when they don't really feel like that at all) where the romance wasn't the main central core of the story but definitely connects to the rest of the show and it stars Lim Soo Jung (also know as Im Soo-Jung) as the main FL, she just hasn't done a lot of dramas and so this is her current latest one so I'm already interested in watching it.
As with all K-Dramas on Disney Plus UK, most of them feel like they are silently released on the streaming platform because of it's horrible IU not really showcasing the shows you would want to watch. I'm always having to check MDL on what is on Disney Plus currently.
I will watch this, just not sure when, might be sooner than later, I was thinking of watching Kyojo today on Netflix.
I don't get the bad rating. This drama is awesome.
What's it about? Doesn't look like it has any romance and probably one of the reasons why some of the MDL community might have disliked it from the get-go. I haven't watched it yet but the comments look like they all have the same sentiment that the drama is fantastic and are confused by the MDL rating, this happens a lot with J-Dramas over here on this site.
wow 10/10 !!!! Don’t let the ratings fool you.. this is a great drama! Truly unique, funny also, and powerful…

I just finished the show and I loved it completely, I genuinely liked the subtle chemistry between the ML and FL with the FL being pretty much hands-off for most of the show because it starts off as the ML having a huge crush on his high school maths teacher but it obviously isn't watered down to that level, the FL was there to bring the ML out of his abyss and so this crush evolves into something much more special.
The series is a pretty hard binge at first because the first 6 episodes are set in the past to build up the scenario of what kind of corruption went on and how innocent people were hurt and their lives ruined by a malicious rumour. However, by the end of episode 6 there is a time-skip and sets off the motion of how our leads will get their justice, this is where the series starts to go at a more enjoyable pace.
I really wanted more romance, as in a proper noona romance of which I think this really isn't, it's definitely a slowburn but most of the series the focus is on the corruption and revenge plotlines. The romance is shown off in small instances such as when they communicate their feelings using mathematical jargon like stating a hypothesis with the premise being an error which is elude to the fact that they feelings for each other but it would be wrong for them to have them when they're currently trying to prove that they were not in a romantic relationship in the past when they were student and teacher. However, at the same time, the romance really did work in being a slowburn and I loved it.
Overall, I'm giving this a 9.5/10, I just loved it with the slow start taking a 0.5 off. I want to see Im Soo Jung in another romantic drama, in my opinion even at the age of 46, I would love to see her as the main FL, she looks incredibly young.
This sucks that Park Ji Hyun won't be in this season as the main FL, this really sucks, they built so much chemistry with each other in the first season.
Ryu Jun Yeol filmed his parts separately with his family in the drama. He did not participate with the entire…
Oh wow, it's a high-school drama played out to the public. Had no idea that Han So-Hee was also involved and looks like she was affected by it to an extent , she's a great actress, I'd like to see her in more dramas.
Definitely a bit slow, I'm on episode 4 as well, I think it will start to pick up soon. I know that episode 7…
I'm on the final episode now as well, looking back the drama is pretty much mainly about the corruption and the eventual comeuppance of the villain and her lackeys with the romance only really being served as a ver very little portion of condiment. I really want a proper noona romance with Im Soo Jung but I don't think that's ever going to happen (technically Chicago Typewriter is and isn't at the same time).
So I remember watching this when it was airing, only got up to episode 09 but I think I'll to watch it from the beginning. Im Soo-jung hasn't really done a whole lot of dramas and in particular romance ones, I'm just about to finish Melancholia, which is more a corruption revenge drama with a subtle dressing of noona romance.

This really is a total bummer.
