I'm only a couple of episodes in, it's good so far but does the ML improve? The problem with Nice guy ML's is that they can be a bit boring and weak. Anle is so full of fire and life, she needs someone who can match her. SML has that smoldering intensity.

Pretty is in the eye of the beholder. I for one think she is very pretty. She is not supposed to be some kind of Helen of Troy, femme fatale. Rather she is a playful and feisty young girl from a remote region. Your entitled to your opinion, I think she's doing a great job tho
Okay, first episode was super cringe. The acting is sus and the dubbing for the ML sounds very cartoon like. Will try another episode, but overall it feels like a made for tv movie from 1999.
Overall a cute and light hearted drama. A bit draggy towards the end. What is with the C-Drama obsession with childhood connections? I swear almost every drama has the leads meeting as children and then not recognizing each other until they are romantically involved. The leads in this one were very sweet. The ML was not overly cold or aloof, and the FL was bubbly but not annoying. Definitely a lot of plot holes, but still enjoyable.

This was so good! If you are looking for a sweet and endearing romance this is for you! The leads both had good character development, and their relationship developed naturally. Lots of funny scenes. The supporting cast was fantastic.
A fan page on FB said the director announced the drama will be airing soon. It is also now second in the coming soon line up in the IQiYI app. They did say they would surprise drop some dramas this summer. Please please release this one!
Very slow burn romance. It had it's cute moments, but overshadowed by the obnoxious SFL. ML didn't have much growth, and didn't ever stick up for his wife, which was very frustrating. The time period was fun to see, good music and costumes. Not a very memorable romance though. Attractive leads with decent chemistry, poor writing is what held this one back.
