I do understand why they extended an offer to JG because he knows martial arts and taekwondo and he would fit the role the most. But really can’t help but express my disappointment with the production company over not working something out with the OG cast.
I think there is also the issue where actors and actresses may have different interpretations and how they want to play a character, so people may make comparisons over how the character is now perceived or the new actor/actress force themselves to act in a similar way to original and may look awkward.
Casting choices do not seem to be definite yet so we can only wait and see.

I was terrified to watch the last episode because of the comments regarding the ending... but to me it did not seem like an open ending. It was more of a happy ending where everyone got closure and resolved (or about to be resolved in Gu's case) their issues.

I checked Kim Ji Won's dramas after starting MLN because I liked her acting here. Then she became one of my fav actresses after watching Fight For My Way and now onto Arthdal Chronicles. Sad to hear you are disappointed with her dramas because I find she is great at picking the good scripts.

If that’s the case then I think that’s for the best because it doesn’t mean Gu needs to runaway and go into hiding himself with the chairman after him if the chairman is the one to kick him out. He can take over the Sanpo sinks business. I’d also have thought with the job he’d be rich.

Gu mentions his issue and cause arises from being lonely, being on constant alert and having no one to talk to etc. So from what I am understanding and hoping is MJ will be his liberation and will help him overcome his alcoholism. I do wonder if it does go down that root if they will separate and have a time skip before reuniting.
Only thing I’m confused about is his confession to MJ but mentioned he might be homeless in the future. I wonder if it is a plan he has in mind that would result in him being homeless or he may become homeless due to his alcohol problems.

I'm not sure where you are getting it from that I dislike him. I will be honest that I do not find him good looking but that does not mean I dislike him for that. All I am saying is that if Cho Tae Seob character is meant to be considered good looking then at least the actor should be considered good looking as well.
