The show seems to be hated more than liked on this site for whatever reason to me.

It was originally supposed to be a 2 hours movie so 9 hours(8.5 hours to be exact) were actually plenty.

Unprecedented success so maybe. Personally I feel it's complete and it doesn't need a 2nd season.
