I know now why I like LCZ more than SQS...LCZ's stare is more intense and so cool...befitting a leader. Marvel at how Cheng Yi able to carry both characters so well....

Episode 27 & 28 are so satisfying...XQS face-off with LCZ... Cheng YI carries both character so well, each opposite the other. XQS is raw, daring, upright while LCZ is cool, calm, seasoned in worldly matters. I prefer LCZ though...

Episode 6 is a masterclass in empathetic storytelling. The background music totally nailed it. A story about a forgotten war veteran, who had dreams like any other young man, but he forsook his youth, his dreams, and a normal future to defend his country but ended living in near poverty, isolated and enduring the silent weight of loneliness. This episode 6 is a 10/10

I just finished Episode 6 today. Teary eyes.

A compact story plot, not much filler, every plot was inter-elated.

another CD that has badly written script. Xu Kai was exceptional in his other dramas except this. rated 7.5/10

interesting story line and the pace is just right.

Arthur is on point with his acting, the FL acting childish all the way except on her last death, the make-up artist done such a mediocre job where Arthur's face splashed with blood had repeated style throughout. This drama is draggy to me, watched at the fastest speed especially those romance part. Overall 7.5/10

ha..ha...that was the part which I remembered the most...he's brilliant !

Zhou Ye was excellent in Scent of Time but here, the general character does not suit her.
