The battle scenes is so so good, not just battle of the wits, but gongfu with colours, texture of solid, liquid,…
Absolutely agreed with you on this. Love the fighting scene especially among the master. I had to watch at slower than normal speed for details movement.
The fighting scene is superb that I had to watch at 0.25 speed to catch the details... So satisying drama, lots of suspend and clever moves made by both ML gangs and also the enemy. It is 9/10 for me. Cheng Yi shines here compare to his Sword and Beloved where I commented the lacklustre story and ended getting backlash from Cheng Yi's fan... 😂.
What a satisfying ending. I was anxious from 1st episode that Su Chang He would be the villain and betray Muyu. I like the brotherly bond they had and stay true throughout their journey. Many surprise plot by Chang He to seem like betraying Muyu such as working with Xiao Yong the 1st Prince.
I am watching it at 2x speed. Annoyed to see the ML always being the victim in most situation, does not have plan, and seems weak to turn around the challenges. Cheng Yi is my favourite actor though, especially his acting in Mysterious Lotus Casebook which has good plot. I am watching Whispers of Fate - The Dragon Chant, the ML is smart, strong and have sense of humour.
Definitely one of the best C-dramas I’ve seen in years! The quality is amazing — it’s been so long since…
yes, agreed with you, this is such a great drama, superb fighting scene, interesting plot and I like the way they introduce new characters on each episode which add extra support to the storyline development.
Anyone know why the Chancelor stalling the eunuch time at the royal tomb? What is his role there? He initially refused to meet Su Mu Yu, so I think he did not approve Mu Yu.
I like that the ML is super intelligent, highly skill, strong and always making smart moves ahead of others. The plots are interesting and many elements of surprise.
Crazy Yan looks familiar with his dimples...no wonder...he's Julian Cheng, the Hong Kong actor. Crazy Yan is LCZ's father and teacher, that's why LCZ has such skilful martial art. The fighting scene between CY and XQS is epic!!!
I know now why I like LCZ more than SQS...LCZ's stare is more intense and so cool...befitting a leader. Marvel at how Cheng Yi able to carry both characters so well....
Episode 27 & 28 are so satisfying...XQS face-off with LCZ... Cheng YI carries both character so well, each opposite the other. XQS is raw, daring, upright while LCZ is cool, calm, seasoned in worldly matters. I prefer LCZ though...
