YJG is not lead material,at least right now..Looks too much a kid..Not sure why he keeps getting these excellent…
All the most recent dramas he has starred in are HIGHLY rated and have won awards. I don't know what reality you are living in but it's not the same one the rest of us are in.
The US has nothing to do with this. Abstinence only education has been proven not to work. It is, in fact, allowed…
It's funny that you assume I never took English, when in fact, I MAJORED in English. I know what juxtaposition is, but the fact of the matter is, your comparison with the US and the matters here are comparing apples to oranges. It makes absolutely zero sense, and I suggest you stick to what you know in the future.
You brought up the USA, not me.
I agree with you that the culture in South Korea is uncompromising, but you absolutely cannot compare women's issues to this issue. Now if you want to compare other celebrity punishments, you may have an argument, but you did not do that.
You need to read your words again, and understand why someone may misunderstand them, if that was truly your intent, because it sure sounded to me like you were ripping on the US abortion policies, and abstinence being not taught in schools, and coming in to criticize democrats for something that not just they believe. 75% of Americans support Roe v. Wade.
Look at the likes on my comment, and look at the likes on yours. People are siding with my argument because yours made little sense.
My thoughts about replacing the actor? The company should replace and reshoot as fast as they can to either kill…
TBF I never liked Jisoo, so now that they are replacing him, hopefully they decide to air the whole thing over, and I might watch it now. I'm just glad the crew and actors are still going to have work.
I have so much to say on this... but I'll just leave it at 3 thoughts:1. I think about the USA, where Democrats…
The US has nothing to do with this. Abstinence only education has been proven not to work. It is, in fact, allowed to be taught, just not by itself, and it shouldn't be. Providing teenagers with sexual protection is a good thing.
I have no comments on your comments about abortion, only that your opinions are truly, truly ignorant and I hope you educate yourself on teenage pregnancy and why abortions should be up to the individual and no one else.
im so shocked, this goes beyond ''simple'' bullying or ''normal highschool banter'' (not that is correct or that…
I agree with you, but in order for him to be arrested for those crimes, the victims have to go to the police. Only time will tell whether they do or not.
How long will it be until they air this drama now? How long will Park Hye Soo's career remain tarnished because of this scandal, even though she was innocent? Why does it feel like Korea points pitchforks at its own celebrities time and again?
Actually hyeso released receipts and spilled the teahttps://www.koreaboo.com/news/dispatch-reveals-park-hye-sus-accusers-lying-claims-reveals-text-messages-showing-friends/
And yet her career will remain tarnished forever because that's how Korean celebrity culture works there. It's infuriating.
When people feel sorry for the cast, they aren't saying "damn no rom com for me." They're thinking about all the…
Well, I mean, I DID want to see the drama and I'm allowed to be disappointed. Saying that doesn't mean I think my issues are greater than the bullying victims. My disappointment doesn't cancel out their pain.
I just think Korea goes too far in publishing celebrities who have scandals. They are people too, and I don't like how they are treated as robots who aren't allowed to make mistakes, because people are flawed, and they will mess up, especially when they are younger. And I say this as someone who was a victim of horrific bullying in middle school. A lot goes on when brains are underdeveloped. Do I think what she did was okay (if she did it, that is)? ABSOLUTELY not. But she was a kid. I don't think her entire life should be ruined because of that. She should have to publicly apologize to the victims and show remorse. Make an example out of her, but she should be the only one punished for it.
And of course I feel terrible that the victims are still suffering to this day. I hope they are getting help for that, and I hope they have someone to talk to about it. Obviously I still hold a lot of resentment toward the people who did this to me, but I wouldn't go so far as to try to ruin their careers over it, so I have mixed feelings about what is going on in this situation. I think it's more healthy to talk it out with a mental health professional so you can move on and live a normal life. Maybe they have done that also, I don't know. It's just a difficult situation all around with no easy answers.
i can't believe people feel sorry for the cast the MOST. your first thought when you hear about a bullying case…
When people feel sorry for the cast, they aren't saying "damn no rom com for me." They're thinking about all the people that worked on this drama: writers, PDs, supporting actors, etc. and worrying about their salaries and careers. That also doesn't mean they don't have sympathy for the victims of bullying. But should everyone involved have to suffer because of what one person allegedly did? And I say allegedly because it has not yet been proven. There are a lot of nuances here and you are trying to paint it as a black and white issue, and it is not.
Also, no one is saying we don't believe the victims. I just don't think shelving the drama and making everyone involved with it pay the price is the answer.
I'm annoyed. I really wanted to see this drama. Korea goes too far punishing actors and idols for small misdeeds imo. Or maybe it's just that America does nothing and I'm stuck in that mindset. I wish the real consequences were somewhere in between. If she did the things her former classmates are claiming, then write about it all over the place, force her to talk about it in public, but don't punish everyone involved with the show alongside her. That's too much. Innocent people are going to suffer for this, and the claims haven't even been proven in court. It just feels like...one small scandal in Korea and you are done for good.
You brought up the USA, not me.

Shame on you.
