I know! It's so frustrating when they do that to us!! This is one of the reasons I started dropping comments on these web series after watching them. Just my initial impressions at the time and how it made me feel. There's some really bad endings out there and a lot of mediocre. I watch because I want a HE. And kisses, lots of on fire chemistry. And kisses...

What a waste of Zhang Bei Xi here. I liked the premise with the fl casting spells and having supernatural powers. It just fell so short even for a vertical. At least I got to watch ZBX and see some good kisses. It would have been better if they were great kisses, but, hey, I take what I can get, lol. It seems like his dramas are less appealing with the new regulations in place for verticals. That can also be said for others as well.

Oh yes! You are correct about the half sister saying that. And on the other hand, the grandfather had imprisoned the fl during pregnancy so would have had her investigated. You know, I can generally overlook these confusing points most of the time if I get a lot more passion in the series, but sometimes it just irks me, lol. What a waste of Zuo Ming. And those kinds of "endings" are a big no for me. I watch for a HE or at least a satisfying one, lol. Oh, and hot kisses. Ok, more for hot kisses and on fire chemistry than a HE, LOL!!

I watched for the leads, especially Wang Yi Ran. It had some cute stuff like the ml following the book the fl was pretending to be a character from so as to win her over. Zhao Mu Yan playing a little green tea against the green teas was also cute. That was a pretty charged scene near the beginning where she throws a red scarf in his lap.... WYR can do possessive/jealous well with his intense eyes, lol. Loved the grandmother. A few kisses near the end, mostly with lip action from WYR, lol. :)
