Loved the grandmother. She's a little fairy compared to Zhang Bei Xi's height. Wang Qian Hui as the Fl had those big eyes of innocence that slayed the ML, With the new regulations, Zhang Bei Xi doesn't have the better edge to the kiss scenes that earlier works do, but I still like to watch him and love his voice. Ml was in love from first real sight of fl. Yeah, the story isn't anything special, but I love the way they look at one another, lol!
Wang Yi Ge looks better in this drama without his glasses and with his hair wet, lol! Those expressive eyes! That was a terrifying, yet funny, scene with the women his "friend" set on him. Haven't seen that before in a vertical. Decent chemistry with the leads. First time watching Xia Jing Ran. Thought she did a good job. A few moderate kisses. Nice seduction in the tub. ;)

Thanks for posting. I, for one, would not be watching these micro dramas if I had to watch one episode at a time. However, the Chinese people seem to really like the format according to what I've read. Maybe that was AI generated as well, lol. It's a phase for me until I cycle back to other Asian dramas and longer length episodes. I'll miss the steamy scenes shown more often in the filmed vertically micro dramas though. ;)
