Maybe it's sm obvios but can someone explain to me why is that sang yan supposedly meet Duan jiaxu till college…
The scene in HL when he gives her the fox is during their last year of university. They first met during their first year of university when they became roommates and were close friends after that.
Guys, can someone explain why she has 3 names? Wen Yifan, Wen Shuangjiang, and Dian Dian? I understand that Dian Dian is just a nickname bc they explained in episode 5, but what about the other two? Which one is her real name, and where did the other one come from? I haven't read the novel, and I also don't understand much about Chinese culture as I'm not Chinese, so I hope someone can explain it to me, please.
Does anyone know the name of the variety show that the cast did for this show? I keep seeing clips on tiktok of LYX and WXY's cute moments tg and I wanna watch it, but I can't find the name! Pls someone tell me the name and where it can be found (preferably without a subscription and with English subtitles)
In which episode does Kang Ning & Chai An get together?
The first 10 episodes are the third couple's story (Kang Ning & Chai An), and it shows how they fall for each other and the challenges they overcome, but they only officially get together when they get married in episode 10. After they get married, it moves on to the other couples, and you'll get to see a few scenes here and there of their post-marriage life. Hope that helps!
I COULD NOT stop laughing at that scene in Ep.4 when he insists on going to eat with them and makes everything awkward... I can't wait for more jealous Sang Yan in the episodes to come!
idk if it's just me, but as someone who's watched Hidden Love at least 5 times, I feel like a lot of the timings aren't matching up. For example, when Sang Zhi took her college entrance exam, she wasn't talking to Jiaxu because of her broken heart from seeing him w another girl at the airport however in the first episode we see her talking to him happily, and also him calling her by her pet name which he only does after they start dating. Also, this might be wrong, but I thought Sang Yan's bar only opened after Sang Zhi's first year of university? Anyway, I might be wrong, but even if I'm right, I don't really care bc I'm loving this show so far.
Also fyi, I'm absolutely not saying anything bad about First Frost or that Hidden Love is better, just that these are some potential plot holes I noticed, and I was wondering if anyone else noticed this too.
Is it just me or does everyone also love the bond between the brothers-in-law? It's just like how the sisters have an alliance except I find it so funny that they'll go against each other in a heartbeat if it upsets their wives. They're so henpecked it's hilarious!
I was just wondering if anyone knows if Fuhui was already pregnant at the beginning of the show or if it was announced in one of the episodes because I don't seem to remember it at all! And in episode 14 she pretended to be drunk, so does that mean in that women used to drink when they were pregnant in ancient china or something? Just asking out of curiosity, no judgement!
Loving the aspect of the drama so far since I'm a huge fan of falling into your smile. But I'm only 3 episodes in and I've had to pause the show due to secondhand embarrassment like 10 times an episode! Also, the age gap is kinda throwing me off a bit... the only reason I'm powering through it is because of the edits on tiktok. But how can someone in real life actually face all that embarrassment just to SEE their crush?!? Might drop it if it keeps being this cringe.
Can someone tell me when the romance between the main leads starts? I've never watched a drama with 56 episodes before, and I'm scared I'll get too bored without any romance or like scenes where they're falling for each other scattered through the show.
Is it just me or can anyone else not find it on Netflix in Canada anymore??? After seeing this, my heart rate just elevated cause we're sooo close to Friday!!!!
Ever since this first came out, I've been waiting until the next episodes drop cause they've been the highlights of the last month and a half. The show was so entertaining as well as funny and addictive, not just in certain parts but throughout the whole show. I love how little details from the beginning of the show are still incorporated and important at the end. And when talking about chemistry, 100/10 for all the cast. After this drama, I'm for sure watching all of Ding Yuxi and Esther's other dramas. This is such a good show, and I loved how we got to see Ziqi's side of the story in the last episode. I just wish they could've given us a bonus episode where we get to see them living happily together in the modern world and also see Mu Yao and Liu Fuyi. I will be watching Moonlight now that I've finished this because I haven't watched it yet, and I desperately need to see more skinship and romance between them, as well as a closed, happy ending.
It's only 2 episodes in and the tension and plot twists are through the roof!! Can't wait to see how the rest of this show plays out. I don't think I can wait a whole week now 😫
This was so good that I watched it in 3 days! Everything was perfect - especially the chemistry between the leads. I was giggling and kicking my feet before they were together, but when they got together, MULTIPLIED BY TEN!! The only thing I would've liked was a little less focus on his career in the middle episodes like 16-18, and instead use that time to give us a few scenes from the future with their future family maybe (I really hope he gets that daughter).
Also fyi, I'm absolutely not saying anything bad about First Frost or that Hidden Love is better, just that these are some potential plot holes I noticed, and I was wondering if anyone else noticed this too.
