Finally had the courage to watch the follow up series and I still think it was a sweet and wonderful love story of two very relatable people! It was beautifully and effectively acted and the chemistry between Billkin and PP was unfaded, more mature, but still charming and undeniable!
The story and circumstances may be different but this BL reminds me a lot of the kdrama You’re Beautiful! I just wish days will pass by quickly coz this BL is PERFECTION!!! PS Why do I have this constant feeling that someone will die in the end, oh no please
This is like one of those series you decided to drop after a couple of minutes coz you felt something was off. However, you gave it a second go and now you can’t stop watching it. It was actually entertaining, both sweet and funny!
I still think the chemistry was so good, I could almost see Aaron and Hank play Bai Luo Yin and Gu Hai from Addicted!
Dang! I felt like a high schooler blushing over a crush while watching this series. The soundtrack can make you fall in love and cry at the same time. And Shi Lei’s mom, oh I just love her!
Didn’t expect that this special would be actually sweet and funny after that underwhelming series finale! Hope Up and Kao will do a comedy-horror BL in the future coz I really enjoyed this one!
Entertaining and the chemistry between Up and Kao is undeniable! But somehow the last few episodes ruined it for me (a bit)! I lost count how many times I paused the screen and rolled my eyes up, argh, and the ending was (a bit, again) underwhelming for me given that it started really great! Still had some good laughs though specially when Bua is around, her comedic timing is genius. PS Is that the real author making a cameo at the end? Really cool.
Somehow this follow up was tamed, a bit toned down that it left me wanting for more! Nonetheless, still a beautiful adaptation. Like the previous film, my fudanshi soul is on overdrive every time Tsukiyama says: “Let me eat you Kaneki” haha
It was surprisingly good despite the over the top gore and violence and some technical imperfections! The cast even gave strong performances. PS My fudanshi soul keep imagining things between Kaneki and Amon during their fight scene, haha
It’s not as bad as it seem, the performances were solid but this chiller, unfortunately, was devoid of any thrills or horror and without the suspenseful element the trailer excitingly promised! However, having Kim Yoo Jung and Nam Da Reum share the same screen is reason enough to watch the film! PS Hope they get to star in another project together.
Felt like Shirogani Miyuki and Shinomiya Kaguya leaped from the pages of manga to star in their own movie and mini series! Sho Hirano and Kanna Hashimoto are perfect for the roles. Sweet, funny and entertaining! Can’t wait for the next film.
If you’re into balletic violence combined with expertly choreographed sword fights and the kinetic thrills of the countless bloody dismemberment then probably this film is the one for you!
Simple and fresh despite its aura of nostalgia and innocence! Although the film invokes architecture as its theme, it’s real interest is not in buildings or construction, but the attachment people develop for places and each other, which I find both heartwarming and heartbreaking.
A visual feast to the eye! The effects, cinematography and the action sequences were dang entertaining! Since the very first film way back in 2012, these beloved characters from the pages of manga come to life on the big screen was a delight to watch. Even One OK Rock’s music fits into every film well. Probably one of the best, if not the best manga-anime live adaptation ever produced!
