i have to catch up with painted skin and Mulan. modern dramas and movies are not my thing and i find some of them too rethoric, but i usually do the same as you, if i like an actor i must watch everything he did ^.^

let me understand one thing (i also noticed it with The Blue Whisper) the new rule says you can't have a drama longer than 40 episodes (or is it 24?) so they're making 2 seasons...but they air them one after the other...what sense does it make? what does it change? it isn't exactly the same thing? @_@

24 episodes for something this complex sounds like a crime, i know, but it's the way things are for now. we can hope in a second season but i wouldn't hold my breath

i'd love it too, but as far as i know there's not a trailer out yet (it's a hint, if the trailer is out the show will be aired sooner or later) and even when there's a trailer it doesn't mean that it will be broadcasted anytime soon. we have a lot of dramas with trailers and promotional photos and no boradcasting date yet, some go back to years ago. the truth is that is a mystery how entertainment industry in china works.

i hope is anytime soon :D you never know with chinese dramas they're rumored to be aired in few weeks and years later we're all still here waiting

what i learn following chinese entertiment is that there's no such a thing as "i want it now"
