even a despicable person like Erniang doesn't deserve domestic violence, i hate her but i can't help but feeling sorry for her

did i see Wu Zetian? count me in

after finishing serenade of peaceful joy i needed something light and easy, so i landed here and i find exactly what i was looking for and so much more. this drama is bad, so bad that turns around and become beautiful, don't get me wrong i enjoyed it,it has everything you can ask a soap opera for: over the top jealous consorts, poison, love potions, secret children born out of the wedlock, fake deaths, cross dressing, hidden identities and its highest moment is the reveal at the Shu wedding (a masterpiece of camp. i stopped the video to lough for over a minute). so if you need something entertaining or are a fan of all of these things this is the perfect drama. i highly recomend it after serious, depressing dramas

will they change the historical characters names as they did with Court Lady?

i'm going to wait too, but knowing it exists after so much time it's great

sadly they subbed just the first 3 episodes

halfway through, this could have been a masterpiece without the documentaristic cut, some part of it, at least to me, are hard to follow, but it becomes lively when it comes to the imperial house private life. if only the two parts could have been more balanced!

i'm about to watch episode 8, no Huaiji yet, it's faster now or maybe i got used to it ahahah so far my favourite character is Cao Danshu

that's what i'm apreciating the most about this drama (i'm not a teen age girl after romance and idols). if only they could do it a bit faster ahaha

i'm keeping my fingers crossed for Dream of Chang 'an

since i have to wait for Palace of devotion to end i started this. the first two episode begin exactly where i stopped with the other drama, but god they put me to sleep, i'm sure it will get better later

we're getting a lot of Tang Dynasty this year :D
